I'd love this team for next season:

James Christensen Skriniar Telles

Neves Kante

Bailey Loftus-Cheek Hudson-Odoi

Caballero, Rudiger, Azpi/ Emerson, Jorginho, Willian, Pulisic, Abraham.

1.) 21 Mar 2019 23:50:38
Seems you play a lot of FIFa.

2.) 22 Mar 2019 07:40:58
I doubt if cho will play ahead of Pulisic especially at this time. CHO is talented but still very raw and may need time to groom him the game. Imo Pulisic is more experienced and ready than CHO. Besides I see many of us don't seem to rate Pulisic but I believe he would surprise you.
On the whole the team needs not only talent but also experience to provide leadership and maintain focus in games.
I shall wait for the update from the Ed002 to see our direction especially when it's becoming increasingly clear that Hazard might be leaving.

3.) 22 Mar 2019 17:23:17
I would discount Jovic he will be going elsewhere. Bailey gives us pace and the left footed player we need but he will not get the space in the EPL he gets in Germany. Hudson-Odoi would sit nicely on the other wing and we have not paid £50m+ for a bench warmer in Pulisic and having seen him a great deal he would be very useful through the middle. That however means we need a very strong midfield to create and add goals.

To me Loftus-Cheek looks the part, shows a glimmer of something special but more often than not falls short. Kovacic, Barkley I would move on and when Sarri goes I am certain Jorghino will follow not long after which means to keep Kante we will need to put our hand in our pocket for a good midfielder to support him and play Kante where he operates best. My choice would be Milinkovic-Savic as value for money.

4.) 22 Mar 2019 21:00:34
C1955 value for money mate? He is like 100 mil player :D who played in italy (so its 50/ 50 chance he will shine in England)

21 Mar 2019 15:23:06
With it apparently looking like Pedro and Hazard leaving Pulisic coming in we need another winger preferably left footed. Willian is staying according to Ed which I'm gutted about as I'd rather keep Pedro as 4th choice. I'd have loved it to be Pepe coming in but it looks like he's moving elsewhere more than likely Bayern. I hope we reignite our interest in Leon Bailey. He started off poor this season but a change in the manager has brought his form back soaring. He's raw but dynamite he reminds me of Sane in the Bundesliga with that potential. We're not going to get a marquee to replace Hazard but I'd rather see us a better team again with direct wingers and full backs that suit the striker. I'd love ya to get Jovic but unlikely but having Bailey and Hudson-Odoi on the wings would have defenders scared for life with their pace and directness. Then have Pulisic and Willian as back ups.

Do we still remain interested in Bailey Ed?

{Ed002's Note - What about Hudson-Odoi,. Everyone goes on and on about him and then ignores him and want a replacement bought in.}

1.) 21 Mar 2019 20:03:51
I said he should be our starting left winger when Hazard leaves.

2.) 21 Mar 2019 19:22:23
We haven't forgotten about Odoi Ed, but it will be nice to have 3 quality wingers in the squad (like Man City) in the form of CHO, Pulisic and one of Insigne/ Thorgan/ Bailey/ Brandt.

{Ed002's Note - I am not going to get involved with your trashing of Chelsea players.}

3.) 21 Mar 2019 21:08:00
Don’t think Insigne will ever leave Naples.

4.) 21 Mar 2019 20:46:32
It wasn't my intention to trash any Chelsea player Ed, if your reply is directed at me.

{Ed002's Note - Yes. What is wrong with Willian?}

5.) 21 Mar 2019 22:28:18
Ed if eden and pedro are leaving, then would leave odoi, pulisc and willian, so another winger would have to be brought in as need 2 for each side, just wondering what wingers we are looking at or want, thanks a lot understand if you don't want to answer.

{Ed002's Note - Think about the numbers.}

6.) 21 Mar 2019 23:18:29
. ed what do you mean think about the numbers? would be 3 wingers so would need another.

on willian, he's not that good and doesn't warrant a place, he's only scored 3 goals in the pl, which is equal amount to about 10 defenders and he does not win us games, he. should be moved on.

{Ed002's Note - I have no interest at in your views about the players. Your constant trashing of players is enough for me.}

7.) 22 Mar 2019 05:18:41
Well, I don't think he's as good as CHO or Pulisic. If the board wants to keep him, I agree with the decision since he's been here for a long time and has lots of experience to offer.

I don't believe thinking a player is not good enough to be a starter is trashing him. Even you said Tammy should not be 1st choice, didn't you?

8.) 22 Mar 2019 06:49:40
I don’t think it’s trashing but each to their own.

{Ed002's Note - Fine, it was a likely mistake my trying to do anything useful.}

9.) 22 Mar 2019 11:08:54
Wasn’t a dig at all ed there’s a lot of trashing of players on here so I understand where you’re coming from.

10.) 22 Mar 2019 12:06:44
The treatment Willian gets is pretty poor.

He's clearly a class act.

Willian / CHO / Pulisic is a pretty good start for next season.

It will be a shame to lose Pedro (and Hazard. )

11.) 22 Mar 2019 12:22:17
Nathswindon, squads ideally need 2 players for each postion so we would need another winger.

12.) 22 Mar 2019 12:20:51
Ed sorry if you thought i was trashing, football is about opinions, if a player is not performing goode nough then they should be looked at or critiqued as long as not abusig them or personal, was just giving my opinion sorry if you thought i was trashing him.

13.) 22 Mar 2019 15:54:53
Rightly put that football is about opinions, if I was the owner of Chelsea today and it becomes certain that Hazard is signing an extension, I will sell Willian off the next day- not because he's a bad player but cos I like someone else but if eventually he stays, he will go down my pecking order for wingers (starting place) .

14.) 22 Mar 2019 17:22:52
Whats wrong with Willian LOLLOLLOL! He is AWFUL.

15.) 22 Mar 2019 18:12:58
Awfully, I am not the owner of Chelsea.

16 Mar 2019 01:54:24
Read an article today on how much Luka Jovic likes Chelsea and he is going going to be the next world class striker on the scene I think he's so complete for his age. If we can get the ban uplifted we need to make him our priority. Barcelona are circling also.

Same with Nicolas Pepe at Lille he's openly in the past expressed his desire to play for Chelsea and he also is on the way to become one of the next best wingers. If Hazard leaves we need to get him.

If we had Jovic and Tammy as our options up top next year I'd be over the moon. For wingers if we could sign Pepe we would have him, Hudson-Odoi, Pulisic and Pedro. Pedro is a good fourth option and the other three are young with massive pedigree's who could all rotate. Especially with Loftus-Cheek behind if he gets fully fit we could easily become a better team without Hazard. We're too dependant on him to move forward. With CHO and Pepe we wouldn't have wingers as talented as Eden but they would also add goals but more importantly directness and running behind which none of Hazard and Willian do enough. If we went into next season with a front three of Pepe, Jovic and Hudson-Odoi next year we could build for years.

1.) 16 Mar 2019 07:22:45
Many of us don't seem to rate Pulisic as much as CHO but imo, Pulisic is better at this time than CHO and will surprise many when he finally joins.
It's a good thing he's not under so much media spotlight. Will help him in settling in easily.

12 Mar 2019 07:14:40
Morning news looks like Real have contacted us over Hazard straight away 👀 he's as good as gone now in my eyes.

04 Mar 2019 22:35:09
Massive shoutout to Kepa, I backed him last week as everyone overreacted and he justified why he's going to be one of the best keepers in the world in the future. A couple of world class saves after an early drop. Think he's got a cracking mentality.

1.) 05 Mar 2019 11:27:50
I agree on the mentality his confidence is so much like that of Neuer and Casillas’ He never look flustered even when he makes a mistake. I think he needs to work on a few things but he’s only going to get better.

Prefer Skriniar and Mendy myself. Think Chilwell will be nailed on for City.

I’d assume Monchi and Ocampos would be two hopefully I’d like it to be Ballack though.

Roman doesn’t even go and watch Chelsea abroad no more even though he can’t come the Uk it’s obvious he’s not putting the right people in roles at the club. Ballack or Ocampos should be DOF ASAP. He’s been overtook by the Sheiks and he’s focused elsewhere.

We will always be thankful to Roman but if he’s lost interest it’s time to move on. I’m not sure on Radcliffe he’s a United fan with a Chelsea season ticket. I’d prefer a nice Sheikh to come in and there has been one with apparent interest but he’s unnamed yet.
