Gotta say I knew nothing about bako before he came (apart from the Monaco CL matches) but he was out muscling everyone today. One or two mistakes but if he can shoot anywhere near Lamps ability he will be a bargain!

If he stays free from injury- I can only imagine the impact he will make in Chelsea. He's a very good midfielder and looks the complete thing.

Ed's just a quick question I read there during the week that a few Chinese clubs are interested in Luiz just wondering is their any truth to this?
Thanks.

denningtonbear

{Ed002's Note - Not that I am aware.}

Ed's is it true Real Madrid are looking at Hazard? Read it there, I'm hoping the story is nonsense but just said I'd ask.

denningtonbear

{Ed002's Note - Yes and they have been for some time.}

1.) 24 Feb 2017 09:58:01
Just one more question (if you don't mind) . The article went on to say that Real are in meetings with us trying to force a move soon, would that be true also?
Thanks for the quick reply!

{Ed002's Note - They are not able to force a move. Chelsea don't want to sell the player at this time.}

Read there today the Chinese club are willing to meet a 130million evaluation of Costa for next summer. Laughed harder than I have in a while I don't want him to leave but if that's true (which it's probably not) I think we'd gladly take it

1.) 23 Jan 2017 09:31:29
If Costa insists on going yes, but there are few around who are as good as he is of course. Would need to put such money towards a Griezmann or Sanchez purchase, and/ or would still need a strong more trad centre forward like Aubameyang. Griezmann and Aubemayang as additions. nice thought but extremely unlikely I fear

2.) 23 Jan 2017 18:09:45
I'd prefer Dybala to both he's like a left footed version of Hazard but not as fast. Also a fantastic set piece taker.

Cahill, Fabregas start would have liked to have seen Christensen and Bako instead of them. Hazard on bench Pedro on instead.

Hey Ed001 not sure if it was you that watches la liga what's your thoughts on Llorente? Seen it a few places today that Madrid will not sell but I've no idea what he's like and I don't judge players by two minute youtube clips. Just thought I'd ask your opinion of him.

denningtonbear

{Ed001's Note - I haven't seen a lot of him myself sorry. I do know he is not particularly highly rated in Spain and is seen as only getting a game because they are so weak in that one area of midfield. However that does not mean much, Madridistas are not known for being knowledgeable fans!}

1.) 24 Aug 2017 09:12:54
Ed002 is taking a sabbatical at the moment and we miss him. Any chance of Chelsea update as not much seems to be happening. All rumours are ' Chelsea interested ' but nothing's moving forward.

{Ed001's Note - I will see what I can do over the next few days for you.}

2.) 24 Aug 2017 09:44:00
Really appreciated, next up CL draw, don't want Napoli or RB Leipzig, and obviously any of the big boys,

3.) 24 Aug 2017 15:50:22
Thanks ed!

{Ed001's Note - very welcome mate.}

Sandro back in the paper again prepare for status update questions :D.

1.) 15 Aug 2017 07:05:11
We've been preparing a bid for over a month now, didn't realise so much went in to a bid for a player who's not for sale.

2.) 15 Aug 2017 07:42:04
Alex Sandro doesn't look like he's eager to join Chelsea. I read about players everywhere pushing for their moves to clubs that they wanna join.

May be, he wants the move but he should do more. Atleast handing in a transfer request won't be bad for a start.

COME ON SANDRO, WE WANT YOU!

I was thinking there today with everyone saying we lack 'depth' so we need what I think is two versatile players.
First off I think Sanchez (Arsenal) would be a smart signing. Gives us more attacking options on the wings but can also play upfront. We get the spare striker we might need but also another exceptional winger if needed.

Next I would say Sandro. No need for explanations really but what he give us is more than his skill. If say bako gets injured or Fabregas this means we could rotate Luiz into dm pushing Azpi or Cahill into center cb with Alonso rotating between lwb or cb.

Also let's not forget Willian can also play midfield or rwb. I think we've done well this market. Yes we're lacking a bit of depth that we had last year but let's not forget we have a versatile squad we're not stuck for players in positions.

Agree that both would be wonderful, but chances of Arsenal selling AS to us very small I'd think. Hopefully we eventually get Sandro, though odds may still be against this happening too right now.

Probably is bull to be fair, but it's an old team maybe he sees better prospects for his future abroad?! If he did leave though I'd guess there's be a lot of offers on the table for him.

Is that not the exact same thing? If we buy Bako he's in the first team, If we buy verratti he's in the first team. Both would be there for as long as they stay! So it doesn't matter what happens our young guys will have to fight for a place simple as no matter what happens.

I agree with Cat someone with skill to link up with the forwards that doesn't just rely on strength. I'd say Aguero is Madrid bound. Can't see us having a chance with the likes of Greizmann, Dybala or Aubameyang. Personally I don't want Lukaku, Icardi or Morata. So that leaves to my mind a few options who have what I think we need. Cavani-but he's finally the main man in psg and I can't see him leaving. Muller-but I don't think I can ever see him leave Munich. I think what we should do for one season especially with Champions league is get Heskey back out of retirement. It's our only option :)

Did either of you watch the United game today? It may have been a once off but united were very average and should have been beaten (my opinion) and let's not forget city usually dip in form around Christmas stop writing everything off this early. Enjoy the football don't needlessly undermine the team you support. I agree with LondonBlues90 it had nothing to do with Roma we just played bad today but we learn from this and move on. The best thing I saw today was that Mosunda should start before Willian at least until he gets a bit of confidence back. He played well, missed a chance but he has a passion. Also great to see Tammy having a good day!

N’golo Kante doesn’t get injured he’s just assisting in getting Danny Drinkwater a game for Chelsea. #KanteFacts
From a page on Facebook it's hilarious.
