Balde looks good but I have to wonder how realistic it is that we would be able to sign him? I know there is always a lot of media talk about Barcelona needing to raise funds etc but so far they haven't seemed to have needed to sell any key players. Then you consider whether he would even want to join? Money talks I suppose but seems a long shot to my uninformed eyes.

{Ed002's Note - Bradley Locko (LWB) Has been scouted by Liverpool, Chelsea and Bournemouth who fear losing Kerkez quickly - but any English club looking to buy him would have to sign him as an exception or pay over the odds to secure a Work Permit. One to keep an eye on for the future - a confident player but still pretty raw.

If I remember correctly RBD Balde of Barcelona is first choice. Kerkez and Locko are on the list though.

With these kind of player of interest my fear for next season being same as the current one heightens. I'm not sure tge club learnt anything and ready to turn things around. No team ever gathered kiddies together and went on to win things much this present generation.
. y point is that we already have enough kiddies and should try to bring in experience and proven players to compliment the kiddies. Don't know where we're going with this strange kiddies policy. They only want to groom kiddies to sell for profits. A team that lacks leadership on the pitch is still vigorously looking for untested kid to buy. Chelsea is derailing.

Tusole I agree too many young players aren’t good but how old are Palmer and Gusto 21 and 20 and they have been fantastic. It’s more down to the coach IMO tactically we are a mess.

Tusole, I think unfortunately given where we are atm I doubt many of the experienced players would come here. Osimhen? Off to PSG. Alfonso Davies? Off to Real. Perhaps we should be going for Bastoni instead of Diomande but there’s not too many experienced players that come to mind who are either good enough or willing to come here imo.

Ed I will not push you to speculate the outcome of the possible decision on the manager but I think will July 1 not late for a prospective new manager to fully assess the squad for suitable new signings. My concern is that we should not repeat the same mistakes of rushing things as the selling clubs might perceive us being desperate and request for more money.
Again I really don't know who but who do you reckon we get if poch is moved on. I'm impressed with emery at villa.

Tt was the first mistake of the new owners. Wouldn't mind his return but not sure how he will cope with the current crop of young players we have. Though certain players might benefit like mudryk and even Jackson if played from the wing.

TT is not a good attacking coach, if he were to come back, we might become more defensively sound but our attacking play under him was pretty abysmal so doubt he’d improve Mudryck or Jackson.

TT seems to be a far better Cup games coach than league one from what I saw from him at CFC plus seemingly the evidence from German league with a side that has nearly always won it in recent times. And, yes, CFC under TT in the league were generally a poor watch.

A striker I'd like us to sign is Awoniyi from forest. Can score in the prem and wouldn't cost too much. Is at an age where he'll be entering his best years.
I don't think we can or should spend 100m on a striker in our current position.
