Enough is enough, Chelsea need to stop hiring managers with no premier league experience.

1.) 31 Jan 2019 00:12:22
Like Conte or Jose?

2.) 31 Jan 2019 00:24:07
TruBlu, you may have put your finger on an essential truth. Italian football is so much slower than the Prem - it is very rare to see a high pressing game in the Italian League - this is why Sarri's Napoli were successful (except they didn't win anything! ) . Sarri's slow possession game just cannot work in English football. But Sarri should be able to see that and adapt - he is paid £millions every year to do just that. But, just like Conte, Sarri seems to only have one system and if that fails it all falls apart.

3.) 31 Jan 2019 00:37:11
Did I dream about Conte winning the Premiership?

I enjoyed Conte’s first seasons football. Nothing slow about it.

4.) 31 Jan 2019 01:34:12
MRs costa you do realise sarri wants us to play faster but the players aren’t doing it right?

5.) 31 Jan 2019 07:19:08
Ancelotti was a shocking manager.

6.) 31 Jan 2019 08:48:32
Yeah, was really evident at times last night that Hazard got the ball and everyone else was 25 yards behind him. Nobody breaking fast.

7.) 31 Jan 2019 09:02:07
get the wolves manager.

8.) 31 Jan 2019 10:26:11
TomB, Conte's 3-5-2 system was successful until the rest of the league sussed it out and adapted - hence the 2nd season. Sarri's system was initially successful until the rest of the league sussed it out - hence our downward spiral. And neither Conte nor Sarri had / have a clue what to do about it. No plan B.

9.) 31 Jan 2019 10:28:53
Standard, surely the sign of a good manager is being able to get your message across - if Sarri 'wants us to play faster' then he is failing very badly to get his message across and is, therefore, a poor manager.

10.) 04 Feb 2019 11:23:45
Mrs Costa, the players haven’t worked out how to play plan A yet and you want them to start playing a plan B?

Think about it.

07 Aug 2018 13:12:51
Chelsea are getting Kovacic on loan with an option to buy, should be announced within the next couple of hours - Multiple sources.

1.) 07 Aug 2018 16:52:09
how about tell them straight swap **** der poxy 35 million straight swap for mateo or nothing.

2.) 07 Aug 2018 17:13:57
Now saying without an option to buy.

3.) 07 Aug 2018 18:20:30
If there's no option to buy then it's not a good deal, Chelsea should pull out cos all we would be doing is making another club's player better at the detriment of ours.

4.) 07 Aug 2018 18:36:40
Well we do a lot of that Obinna.

5.) 07 Aug 2018 18:44:11
i be honest here he never stood out to me but i haven't watched him much either. i would say if we get first dibs on a permanent transfer we should agree a fee now rather than him playing a blinder this year an his value sky rocketing.

6.) 07 Aug 2018 19:13:09
If this deal will linger or fail to materialize, it will be cos of Real Madrid's refusal to introduce an option to buy. I see no sense in it for us if there's no option to buy. What it means Real Madrid wins all over: They get Courtois for a very low price and then give us their player to train too (a player that has relatively lost form) .

7.) 07 Aug 2018 16:27:29
Eds, do you know whether this will effect Loftus-Cheek? Also, is the option the buy genuine? I don't see the point in loaning a player without it - not when we could invest in another player for the long term.

8.) 09 Aug 2018 10:00:39
Obinna. I have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about, Kovacic is one of the most promising midfielders in world football, why would we not snap him up?

Anyone who was doubting Lukaku' ability must feel like a mug now, he's definitely one of the best strikers in the world right now, he should have been Chelsea's number 1 target.

1.) 14 Aug 2017 21:01:59
LOL after 1 game BRILLIANT! And against a piss poor West Ham side.

2.) 14 Aug 2017 21:27:49
Going against what I'm sure is the majority view, I never wanted Lukaku back.
Other than the fact he has the first touch of David Pleat. He apparently wasn't universally liked by everyone at the club!
Morata was always my preferred choice but it's all about opinions!

{Ed002's Note - He was never coming back. I explained that over and over since long before he left.}

3.) 14 Aug 2017 21:31:57
Lukaku shouldn't have been doubted, i agree with that but I'm much happier having Morata as our striker than Lukaku. Lukaku is a better goal scorer where as Morata has more to his game. Watching him link up with Hazard and Pedro excites me a whole lot more than Lukaku would have. Morata suits our style of play more by a mile.

4.) 14 Aug 2017 21:13:40
LOL he's going to be top scorer this season.

5.) 15 Aug 2017 00:00:17
Ed002 you did explain it a while ago. We never doubted you for once. Absolute legend mate.

Lukaku has had 1 good game but i don't feel like a mug at all. For me I've always wanted Morata.

29 Jul 2017 18:48:31
Morata looks like a bargain, not.

1.) 29 Jul 2017 19:27:59
Took about optimism.

2.) 29 Jul 2017 19:58:40
Hes not lacazette. Think about the poor gooners 😂.

3.) 29 Jul 2017 20:08:13
Just to add. I hated drogba in his first season but jesus how wrong i was. Give morata a few weeks.

4.) 30 Jul 2017 08:07:33
Remember Morata flew into Singapore, trained and 24 hours later has a cameo appearance with strange colleagues many being tried out by Conte. In his next cameo performance he has to be the creator and scorer as nobody else offered much. Give him time to settle with whomever we start the season with and he will come good. If people thought Lukaku was the answer just compare stats for minutes on the pitch and Morata wins everywhere except yellow cards.

He was always going to leave, he’s always said that he wanted to play for Madrid, and considering his age, it seems like it’s now or never. He’s one of the best in the world, so we should get a large amount for him, maybe a player (Isco) plus money. Pepe should be the main player to go for, though Chiesa would also be a decent addition.

Willian should be playing for a conference team.

It’s not going to happen. Sarri is stubborn, and will stick to his tactics until they’re perfected. This will be his downfall, and has been for our previous managers.

If Higuain was playing, we would have won by 4 or 5.

Surely we'll keep him as a backup for Kante?

There were talks of Jorginho joining Sarri at Juve, though they have just signed Rabiot and Ramsey, so I can't see that happening.

I'm not sure about the "Pusilic and Michy playing relationship" but Bats scored 9 goals in 14 games for Dortmund, not too shabby.

Why would you put him at RW when we're in dire need of a RB?
