now linked to Edison Alverez. On Ed02s favourite site Twitter, so must be true. In fact did Ed post the rumour himself.

Sid1

{Ed002's Note - almost certainly.}

To be fair this one seems to have legs but Ajax won't sell this late according to reports.

2.) 31 Aug 2022 23:11:31
Thank you 'oga' Tuchel for choosing to get an epiphany about a signing a DM (less than 48 hours) before the close of the transfer window. I pray Ajax sells though.

Chelsea needs a DOF.

obinna those are the things that get us worried about tuchel. he's beginning to sho we are probably end of an era with tuchel based on some alarm bell going off about his plans and other things.
even before his arrival, we already had need for certain positions but he refused to sign anyone. worsre off players that we already have no longer perform ans then the boring football w now play without results. if it were the reign of roman, i can bet tuchel woiuld have gone before december but the new owners may spare him maybe give time. but that will be their mistake if they refuse to follow in the policy of revolving dooors for managers because it has alway benefited us.
tuchel iis no klop nor pep and doesn't know how to setbup attack and only knows to defndand have spent the wholw window chasing defenders with little or no attention to attackers even when we can't goals since he's been here. that gives wrong impression for his future plans forr the club we don't want. especially given our wealth of attacking talents we alredy have.
so far im disapponited in his priority signings. for his priority erling haland would have been here doing it for us for more than 15 years but he continue to targwt defenders and city sneak in and got him. noone should excuse this for the ban and all that. we had opportunity to sign him when it looked like weare the only interested buyer. if tuchel was interested as expected we could have paid for him the seasson we foolishly brought in the bull ion the bookshop call lukaku. i still think that whoever santioned that lukaku including tuchel must be sanctioned. which europen big weight doesn't have an elite striker except chelsea and the coach is not evn serious in lookinf for one because he bliev only on playing defensive boring style of play where wingbacks are expected to play as wingersand even score goals. there are reasons why neymar and co didn't sparkle withh tt at psg. watch kai and co seek to leave soon.

CHAMPS; I feel Boehly made a mistake when he openly said that Chelsea won't continue with the history of hiring and firing coaches, not because it’s healthy to be hiring and coaches but because he (Boehly) should have kept that reservation (to himself) ; reason being- these coaches (like every manager in any organisation) must always be kept on their toes at all times if you want to get the best from them. It’s never healthy if a boss (business owner) becomes too predictable to his subordinate (manager) - it’s just the way personnel management works. Anyways opportunity cost.

5.) 01 Sep 2022 08:41:51
. mind you, Boehly has done well.

6.) 01 Sep 2022 12:15:21
Alvarez has skipped training at Ajax today according to the Dutch press.

Now said to be interested in William Jose of real sociadad. He's a Brazilian forward.

Sid1

1.) 04 Aug 2018 21:54:16
15 goals and 5 assists in last Liga, that literally all I know, seen stuff on YouTube but not enough o claim to know anything about him. Ed’s?

2.) 05 Aug 2018 12:05:30
From what I have seen on him (Willian Jose) on youtube- he looks a fighter like D. Costa (can bully defenders), good with both feet, has good pace, good touch (good ball control), takes up good positions (can anticipate a pass), has a good shot and also good in the air. He is good player.

3.) 06 Aug 2018 15:22:42
If he's that good, why haven't we gone in for him?

19 Jul 2018 22:57:30
Ha ha, now reports are saying Real Madrid have agreed a fee of 190m euros for Hazard. More rubbish or more to it?

Sid1

1.) 20 Jul 2018 08:45:33
Sounds like more rubbish.

no doubt Werner will regain his scoring ability today.

Sid1

1.) 29 Jun 2021 19:16:35
there again perhaps not.

16 Jan 2021 16:40:38
not impressed by today's line up, especially midfield.

Sid1

04 Jan 2021 22:06:15
why does every out of form team suddenly regain their form when and after they play us.

Sid1

1.) 05 Jan 2021 00:51:08
Because we are a charity Sid lol.

26 Jul 2020 20:40:21
what a great decision to keep Oliver Giroud. How important has he been since the restart Thank you Oliver.

Sid1

1.) 26 Jul 2020 22:12:55
The man's a true professional, i'm hoping he'll stay next season since him linking up with the likes of Werner and hopefully Havertz would be great to see. But if he decided to leave for more game time i understand and wish him nothing but the best. What a bargain he was.

{Ed018's Note - agreed I hope he stays as well. Would prefer him to backup Werner for one season. Not convinced with Abraham just yet}

2.) 26 Jul 2020 20:54:41
Agree though might be said that he could have been used a bit more than he was before January.

3.) 27 Jul 2020 01:17:17
Agreed Ed, would like to see Abraham have a loan to a decent prem side like Palace or Sheffield utd. Wouldn't see him playing too much with Werner and Giroud as ST options, as well as Havertz. Would be surprised if he accepted that though.

16 Jul 2020 18:31:10
Come on Sheffield Utd.

Sid1

1.) 16 Jul 2020 18:50:23
I agree Sid but Leicester playing well at the moment.

2.) 16 Jul 2020 19:00:34
Sid we've had a lot of help from teams playing our rivals recently I. e. Southampton, Bournemouth and Burnley.

I think it would be a bit rude to ask for anymore favours i. e. Sheffield 😄

One thing I've learnt watching this game is how fast and hungry Leicester look. There is no needless passing. Every pass looks meaningful. The Sheffield defence have earned themselves a well earned half time tea.

3.) 16 Jul 2020 19:57:41
That wasn’t in my script but fair play to Leicester they deserved that win.

4.) 16 Jul 2020 20:01:17
Agreed CFCShak Leicester played with real urgency and pace in big contrast to our display against Norwich. They made Sheffield look very ordinary where we made them seem like world beaters. Have to hope Leicester slip up against Spurs and we can play a lot better next week than we have done of late. Seems unlikely that Palace will take points off Man Utd though we can hope.

{Ed001's Note - to be fair, Sheff Utd looked knackered. I think they have run out of steam and are unable to freshen up the way Leicester could. There are a lot of players looking like they need a rest, Bruno Fernandes is one. All these games, one on top of the other, are starting to take a toll.}

5.) 16 Jul 2020 20:28:50
Yes fair point ed they did look knackered.

{Ed001's Note - they were always going to be the one to suffer most, it is a shame as there was little option but to play the games over such a short period, but it did punish the promoted sides as they had the smallest squads. Didn't help Chelsea though as they ran out of steam just after they played you! Unfortunate for Chelsea and good for Leicester.}

just think Tom, if there was a transfer fee for good posters on these sites, u would be in the 100m range, and u are just over 28 years of age. But u would have to pretend to support city or united for a couple of years, before u finished your career back at chelsea, arriving on a free.

what's your view Ed02 on the premier league helping out teams financially in the Efl during the current crisis . Premier league teams have all benefited from players found, nurtured by Efl teams.

Sid1

{Ed002's Note - That is no more than a short term plan. It needs to be done but the EFL is far too large to survive.}

Arsenal will suit Harvertz perfectly, if they get Rice as well they will have a seriously strong team.

give him time for heavens sake. How long did Liverpool give Klopp, how long have Arsenal given Arteta. Supporters expecting instant success as usual.
