Has performed well everywhere EXCEPT utd.
Clearly talented.

According to Ed002 we are still in for Osimhen, and Ed002 had previously suggested we were not interested in Sancho. But situations can change I suppose. Would think we are pretty well served with wide players now, given Jackson and Nkunku both capable of playing there but if getting Sanch were a means of an end to getting Sterling's wages of books - with some media suggesting a swap of sorts possible (but Ed002 would know if this is rubbish or not) - then there could be some sense to it perhaps.

Noni has been one of the standout players this far under Maresca in oreseason games and again last night so can only assume the. manager would object to him leaving though not sure extent of his say in outgoings?

A striker I'd like us to sign is Awoniyi from forest. Can score in the prem and wouldn't cost too much. Is at an age where he'll be entering his best years.
I don't think we can or should spend 100m on a striker in our current position.
Ed2 is anyone showing any interest in Awoniyi.

Hi Ed2.
A lot is being made in the media about the spending of chelsea and there is a lot of speculation that we're going to end up breaching FFP.
I know we have made a lot in player sales and people are saying the cost of our purchses will be spread over a number of years.
However, do you see us having any FFP issues? I'm not asking you to go into any specific detail because I know finances can cause a lot of confusion.

Great to see Lukaku back. I think he's just what we need. Hopefully he'll hit the ground running and start banging the goals in.
I hope it brings confidence back to werner as well. It might allow him to go under the radar a bit and take some pressure off him whilst he finds his scoring boots again.

I agree King, I am confident that Lukaku will score 20 + PL goals. I just think we need two more top class signings, I would like to see a CM and Kounde but I am not sure if that will happen Also, would like to see a few of the squad moved on.

Disappointing result but I see a lot of positives in the team and how we played and looked to attack and at times control the game.
In the past we have had stronger teams and better players (in terms of the current experience we have in the team. The current young players are only going to get better), yet on so many occasions we have sat back and not looked to attack city and almost been beat with the way we set up before the match even began. Whereas that is not how super Frank sets us up. he's really showing what a good manager he is going to be.
Imagine how much the young players will be after the experience they have gained this season. Especially with some additions to the team/ squad.
As I say, I am not happy with the result but seeing how the players are performing under Lampard is good to see and I enjoy our style of play.

too many players simply not good enough kong drogba. we look miles off city today and its showing how far off we are from city liverpool and spurs at the minute our defense looks woefull our midfield is been cut to shreds and we don't have a decent striker.

All fair paints raised Matt and a good post.
It's painful to see us in a mess and with the owners making decisions that the probably the majority don't agree with.
Fingers crossed they do get it right though and the next appointment works. Hard to see at this point though.

I agree fans would love him because of what he's done and when he was first appointed he was inspirational and had the charisma. He pulled players in and they'd have run through a brick wall for him.
However I don't think this generation of players could take him. They've changed from 20 years ago.
It's the same in every work place.
It's frustrating but they couldn't hack him calling them out and they'd down tools.
As much as my heart wants him and I'd embrace his return, my head says its a bad move.
I honestly don't know who I want.
2 months ago, none of us wanted poch. His tactics were poor and he'd take too long to change things.
Yes we finished the season well but we were so poor for most of the season and we bottled it against Liverpool and didn't go for the kill when we should have. That was on poch.
Gallagher and chalobah are good squad players but if gallagher won't sign a contract then he needs to be sold, chalobah apparently wants guaranteed game time, he's not a world class CB and I don't think he should be a guaranteed started for us. I'm not saying disasi is better but if chalobah wants that guarantee, I don't think we should give it him and therefore is likely to push to leave.
Poch could have played matseen at LB but didn't. He played him out of position and as a result he left on loan and has gone on to look good in his correct position.
Poch kept making such strange decisions in the first half of the season.
I think fans forget this and are blinded by the last 6 weeks or so.
Don't forget we lost 5 nil to arsenal. That's embarrassing.

For me he offers more than KDH. I just don't understand that signing.
I get that maresca thinks he needs to play more regularly but I think he could have got a lot of minutes if we'd not signed KDH.
KDH has an eye for a pass and he's been unlucky with some attempted through balls but so far the rest of his game seems lacking.
I like the potential of carney and he can move with the ball well and just seems to have that extra bit of quality compared to KDH.
