Is it true that will be looking to sign the VAR operator from Liverpool in January?

To be fair most of the decisions to do with VAR have gone liverpools way this year only one against them can remember was a goal chalked off vs palace.

It had to be handball against VDV yesterday. Than foul against Lovren for Palace goals was joke. At least 2 manes penalty was 50/ 50 at best, handball of TAA. Come on ED001, i know Liverpool are country mile ahead because they are trully amazing (even though is hard to admit it)

But Liverpool definitely had some questionable (to say the least) favours from VAR.

Van Djik didn't handball it, if you look at the replay it came of his chest. Liverpool have had decisions go against them too so i don't really get the "what ever Liverpool wants" meme. Plus it's not like it's made a massive difference, they're far ahead of everyone and will easily win the league. Would definitely argue we've been done up by VAR quite a few times though.

I don't get the var with hand ball! If it's in the attacking phase and touches the hand on purpose or not and leads to a goal it is ruled out.

Look at azpi goal that spun up and hit tammy hand.

But it's not the same in the defensive phase. I think they should either scrap the attacking one or use it the same for defending.

At the end of the day sometimes you can't help it hitting your hand when it spins off or bounces.

All I’ll say is the best teams create their own luck. Something Liverpool are certainly doing. They’ve had calls go there way but they’ve deserved the wins 200%.

I'm not sure I'd say they deserved their win against wolves, or against us. I thought we played really well in our game and at least deserved a point. However they have been absolutely phenomenal, and I don't think anyone can truthfully deny that - unfortunately.

Morning all, and Eds, always a nice day when you've had a good result the day before!

We saw Emerson subbed early yesterday in a move that worked really well tactically for that game, but has once again got fans talking about the fact neither Alonso or Emerson seem to be doing the business, plus there's been talk for some time of interest in both players from elsewhere. I don't think a left back was listed in Ed002's list he kindly provided, so it seems fans and club have very different ideas about that position on the pitch.

Its a position we've consistently had issues finding a long term solution to since Cole, with plenty of players looking decent in bursts but never really making it their own, or if they do they come a cropper to managerial change (Alonso from Conte to Sarri for example) .

Eds - I know we have a talented youngster in that area, but it seems unlikely Lampard will be absolutely happy with the solutions he has right now. Are Chelsea really happy to wait it out with
