Last year's captain wasn't offered a deal commensurate with his value.
You surely don't believe the club PR that he was made a 'good offer'?
It's clear they planned to sell him all along and made an offer based on that, then Poch came along and trusted him and he became a lynch pin of the side.
Personally I hope he runs his contract down after the way he's been treated.

Ok Ed. Thanks for the reply. I think he is a already a fantastic keeper and will no doubt go on to bigger and better things than Villarreal. Would be a great deal for the prices mentioned. Do you have any info on the keepers higher up the list. It’s quite a key position for the club to fill this window, so anything you could tell us would be great.

I've heard we're interested in Jorgensen, Hermansen, Alvaro Valles, and Lunin. Not sure what order our preference is. Alvaro Valles would be my favoured option - 6'6" with elite shot stopping and distribution stats. Hermansen has worked with Maresca last season though which would be helpful. Lunin would also likely unlock the Kepa to Real Madrid deal too.

The striker situation at Chelsea seems to have gone quiet, osimhen to psg seems almost certain, Toney reported fee keeps getting lower according some reports, gyorkeres hasn’t been mentioned for few months, wahi has been mentioned, ? Duran and Samu not as many rumours.
Watkins? Would be nice? What’s the latest on striker?

Good afternoon ED002, I hope you’re well and having an enjoyable summer. I was unsure where to propose this question, so I apologise if this is not the suitable place. I was just wondering if there was any chance of your podcasts returning? I used to really enjoy listening to them when they were posted, and would definitely enjoy listening in again if they were to return (even if Chelsea were to be excluded from topics due to the obvious complications that could bring) .
