Must be a scary thought for all you Chelsea fans that lukaku withdrew his transfer request as he sees Everton as a better project than Chelsea! Carries on like this Everton will have a whole new fan base in London when Everton win a trophy and u lot suddenly decide your toffees.

I don't know what you're on about, but ill tell you what I for one, in fact a lot of Chelsea fans actually celebrated when he decided to stay with you lot, if you haven't realised we have a better player in lukaku in Batsman, better first touch, two footed and also seems like a guy ready to put his head down and work hard, not mopping if he is automatically first choice.

Plus it's obvious to see that he decided to stay because we weren't going to fork out that money on him, when there are better options out there, so keep talking spaz like Evertons going to win a trophy it only proves that you "evertonians " are nothing more than a delusional bunch.

2.) 22 Aug 2016 11:14:38
Your going to need better bait then that to get a bite on here 🎣🎣🎣🎣.

3.) 22 Aug 2016 11:18:57
Im not a fan of lukaku. But was that a city come lately fan who used to support man u?

4.) 22 Aug 2016 11:21:48
Is that the same batsman that's forth choice behind Rom origi and benteke for Belgium? Yea well done with that one lads.

{Ed018's Note - in all fairness not many of the posters on here wanted Lukaku back.}

5.) 22 Aug 2016 11:32:02
I no am just bored in work ed and new ad get a rise out of Chelsea fans who used to be United fans who was Liverpool fans back in the day u no the type ed.

6.) 22 Aug 2016 11:51:23
Delighted we didn't cow to his ego! Batshuayi in about 30 match minutes has already shown a better touch than Lukaku ever did!

7.) 22 Aug 2016 12:07:54
Thats a first a scouser in work jonny
Enjoy harts mistakes by the way.

8.) 22 Aug 2016 12:23:46
Funny the Zola pal haha who did u support before abramovic? United or liverpool.

9.) 22 Aug 2016 12:39:30
Looking for jobs at the job centre doesn't count as work johny.

10.) 22 Aug 2016 13:32:23
Our new Belgium striker will be the better player as time goes by.
I never rated lukaku and I hate his laziness and first touch. I never wanted him back.

11.) 22 Aug 2016 15:02:57
Chelsea don't need a £70mill+ lump up front with the first touch of a donkey and an attitude problem. Laugh all you want about batshuayi but he scored with his first touch in the euros and has already got a league goal and assist without starting a game.
As for Chelsea fans all supporting Man U and Liverpool before 2003, I didn't realise we were back in school, such a ridiculous statement.

12.) 22 Aug 2016 15:37:21
i supported everton before abramovich jonny then i realised i was on to a losing thing supporting the second best team in liverpool
then i became a fan of a plastic flag waving happy trophy winning side and its the best decision i could of made
european cup winners
premiership winners
fa cup winners
league cup winners
europa cup winners
its been 21 years since efc have won anything of substance
you had a great run in the champions league a few years ago
was it 2 matches against villareal you lost both but it was a good run for you lot.

13.) 22 Aug 2016 23:25:14
We have won nearly 20 trophies since you toffees last won anything and yes why would we want lukaku back, he is worth no more than the profit we made off you.

14.) 23 Aug 2016 20:58:22
Little victories ey johny89? Keeping hold of Lukaku is all you can celebrate, have fun being a mid table team for the rest of your life.

20 May 2016 20:33:44
Everton fan ere, would u lot be happy to pay the reported £100m for stones an lukaku or do u think there are better players available for that sort ov fee?

johny89

1.) 20 May 2016 20:49:00
Stones is absoloute rubbish mate and I personally never rated lukaku he's lazy and some games seem to completely drift by him I would want either any were near Chelsea.

2.) 20 May 2016 21:52:21
I would do £50m for Lukaku but I would be very hesitant to touch Stones at the moment. His performances this season go without saying which combined with the growth of guys like Christensen makes it extremely hard to justify for anything like the numbers talked about last year.

3.) 20 May 2016 21:54:41
That's my opinion of lukaku too mate I would bite ya hand off for some decent money his goals hide his lack of first touch and his inability to hold the ball up, and stones is too cocky mate over hyped primadonna wouldn't be missed in my opinion, just wanted to know how u lot thought about the supposed deal.

4.) 20 May 2016 22:51:29
I think Stones has lacked real defensive coaching, he's been allowed to get away with mucking around with the ball in the wrong areas far too much. Wouldn't go anywhere near him for the £40m being banded around last summer - and I really wanted us to sign him then too.

Lukaku does go missing, sometimes for entire games, but his goal record for his age is absolutely stunning. I'd have him back at Chelsea tomorrow. Wouldn't be disappointed with a £50m deal for him.

5.) 21 May 2016 00:08:38
Stones I can take him or leave him so for considering the price being asked and the rise of Christensen and the promise of atleast one of clarke salter or tomori breaking through makes it seem rather pointless to me.
Lukaku i'd love to have back and I know he has his faults but anyone scoring 25 goals a season for a team in the bottom half a t his age is worth a good price tag. Think how many he may score if he had hazard and fabregas picking him out so for me i'd only go for lukaku and be willing to pay between 40-60 million for him. Stones at the price being asked however I could leave considering we need a centre back that can play well consistently now and the fact we have our own promising centre halfs.

6.) 21 May 2016 10:51:07
Another point re. (in defence of) Lukaku.

Compare his record with that of Alvaro Morata. Both lads are 23 and both are being touted for moves this summer for around the same high fees and wages. Lukaku, playing in a much more competitive league, has a much better goal scoring record. Morata's goal scoring record is, well it's really poor; he's never had a double figure goal scoring league season in pro football - Dom Solanke had a better goals to game ratio in Holland this past season!

I know where I'd rather Roman spent his rubles!

7.) 21 May 2016 12:17:22
I'd take both. Not for £100m though. Both experienced premiership players. Both young, international experienced, what more could you want? Problem with buying foreign players in is they have to adapt to the speed and intensity of the league and that can take time. And to be fair that's one thing you don't get at Chelsea - time.

So yes I'd take both but not for the £100m, nearer to £75-£80m then yes.

8.) 21 May 2016 12:35:41
Take them both all day long. Ed02 regularly says don't get caught up in the money side of things. Doesn't matter to us.

9.) 21 May 2016 13:12:15
If it was me
Signing players this season/ summer I would go get Gonzalo higuian if Napoli left him go he's top class in his prime go get him and he will win you a league . Lukaku is to inconsistent to lazy to many games pass him bye I would be extremely dissapointed if we were stupid enough to pay 50 million for him I never rated him still don't the semi final of the fa cup against Man U summed him up really for me . Higuian naingolan and Kante or pjanic wouldn't be bad buisness at all who knows who conte wants do time will tell and experienced player like bonucci would be nice.

10.) 21 May 2016 13:51:29
Games pass him - is that because of the side he's playing in? With our attaching players surely he'd have more chances wouldn't he? and if he can score goals in that side what about ours?

11.) 21 May 2016 15:30:13
Morata has 11 goals in a team that is superior to all other teams in that league by quite a margin, being setup by pogba dybala and marchisio. While lukaku scored 25 in a team who came 11th in a much more competitive league while being setup by people like Aaron Lennon Ross Barkley and Gareth Barry.
Yes lukaku has a bad first touch and moratas all round game is better but the stats don't lie.

30 Aug 2015 11:37:05
Who honestly believe Chelsea will score a goal past Everton? Your pub forward looks finished hazard looks disinterested fabregas is showing why barca didn't care he left and your ba k four is woeful, I can smell 3 points for the mighty Everton, COYB NSNO

johny89

1.) 30 Aug 2015 12:25:37
Yes, because you were shocking against Spurs yesterday.

2.) 30 Aug 2015 12:46:10
I definitely believe we'll score :-)
How many we concede is another question entirely though.

3.) 30 Aug 2015 12:49:17
And that 'pub forward' bullied your defence last season. Didn't we put 6 past you at the same time last year?

4.) 30 Aug 2015 13:08:19
Well Johny if we play like we have been, then u will probably win. Just a tip mate for future reference, never include your IQ as part of your username, it explains the contents of your message.

5.) 30 Aug 2015 14:00:11
Johny you're beginning to remind me of another scouser.

When encouraged you really enjoy it, and start believing you're having an impact, but we all know you'll slip up and your team, no matter how many players come, stay or go, will never deliver you the title.

6.) 30 Aug 2015 14:54:50
Yes u did beat us last year, that's when you was a good team but at the minute boys and girls you lot are terrible, Jose will b sacked before Xmas as he can't cope if he doesn't get his own way proved it time and time again just throws his toys out and blames the world for him not having a plan b, reminds me of us last year we had a good season before then teams figured us out and we went whole of last season with no plan b, same thing seems to have happened to you lot this season, remember it's only banter ay lads y try and get personal Sid what's up spat your dummy out because it's not all going your way

7.) 30 Aug 2015 15:04:44
Johny, your being silly. It doesn't compare to you lot at all. We weren't just playing well, we won the league. In your 'good season' you didn't even break into the top 4.

You seem to be helping make the case, that your team is a mid table shambles with a manager who has never known success, while Jose and Chelsea actually win things

8.) 30 Aug 2015 15:25:51
Point taken Johny my apologies.

9.) 30 Aug 2015 16:40:31
No worries sid, Melbourne I wasn't saying it was exactly the same just stating that your team, like ours last season, has stagnated with no plan b, I will bet u anything u want to that Chelsea win nothing else under Jose? Any bet u want I will take it, and I am a man of my word I will honour any bet made, Chelsea football club will not win another trophy under jose

10.) 30 Aug 2015 16:42:24
And I have never disputed that you win things Melbourne just stating that it ain't going to b happening again any time soon

11.) 30 Aug 2015 17:18:14
Johny, being a man of your word means very little when all you seem to do is ramble about nonsense, but I'm more than happy to take your bet. If I win, all I ask is you add a tag line of 'Everton supporters will never have the same amount of class as Liverpool supporters' to every post you make from that moment on. I'll do the same with a slogan of your choice.

I never claimed you said it was exactly the same, I merely am pointing out what a good season entails to an Everton fan compared to that of a Chelsea fan. You're constantly yapping about how we don't have history and was once in Evertons position. I'm just reminding you, while you continue to stagnate, we continue winning trophies.

12.) 30 Aug 2015 17:37:51
Melbourne I like your bet haha I will take u up on it if I win your slogan can b I was a millwall fan till Chelsea won the league, deal?

13.) 30 Aug 2015 18:11:21
Haha no problem mate. Not sure how you want to judge it, as if he leaves in the next couple years without winning something (which he won't), you can't exactly say you've won, as history says he returns and he wins

14.) 30 Aug 2015 18:32:20
Well it is only a friendly bet anyway Melbourne all in jest mate, honest opinion what u think the score will b when we meet

15.) 30 Aug 2015 19:29:48
dry your eyes mate,ha ha

16.) 31 Aug 2015 01:18:37
I think we pump you mate. Not being funny either. I think this little break will help us, and I think Jose will have the boys looking for blood. 4-1

Longevity my friend, Jose has a hard time with rebuilding squads he goes somewhere wins the league then can't replicate it, Wenger has built teams over and over who continually challenged something Jose is incapable of, just my opinion like av bin wrong before just how I see it
