Any body got any info on thorgan hazard? Is their a buy back? Or any interest? From us?

1.) 02 Nov 2016 21:25:19
From what I can tell there is a bit back clause, we are keen but he is less keen.

12 Aug 2016 09:53:55
Fabregas to jive thus I hope not!

1.) 12 Aug 2016 10:21:11
Football Italia are the same people who said Pogba was going to Barcelona and created the Zaza Matic swap nonsense. Just ignore them.

2.) 12 Aug 2016 12:06:25
I wouldn't mind actually if the price was okay. Very good player, and he would help us defeat the "smaller" sides that would just sit back. But against better teams he gets man marked out of the game too easily. He needs time and space to be really effective, and most of the time he won't get that with us.

3.) 12 Aug 2016 12:17:29
Or maybe he just needs the right balancebehind hi. To have that space. As far as I can see we need a passer from midfield to top. With out that were just that direct team.

4.) 12 Aug 2016 14:48:06
It's a step back if we sell cesc, Oscar is the midfielder we should look to move on if any. Cesc is top quality, you just need to build around him to get the best out of him. A midfield 3 of cesc, kante and a return to form matic would be good enough for me. I think a top quality centre back is a huge must ASAP.

5.) 12 Aug 2016 21:30:52
Sell Cesc, one of our best players? The naivety amongst one or two on here knows no bounds.

6.) 14 Aug 2016 00:50:05
Haven't you guys actually watched Cesc in matches? Yes, his passing can be majestic, but he loses possession just in front of our back four too many times. In the pre-season warm-up games, his startling inability to withstand being closed down, and maintain possession, nearly cost us a goal on several occasions. Meanwhile, Oscar has shown evidence that he his starting to regain his form - his work rate is 100% better than Cesc, he doesn't lose the ball that often (and when he does, he tries hard to win it back), his passing, although not as clinical as Cesc, is good, and he is far more aware of goalscoring opportunities. Give me Oscar over Cesc any day of the week.

7.) 14 Aug 2016 08:50:35
Oscar loses ball all the time. We have Kanye to cover cescs ground now. If we don't have cesc we have no link to forward players. Well go back to a midfield that doesn't create move forward. Be back to that passing back to defenders, then goal keeper, then hoof the ball up field because kante, matic, mikel don't know what to do with it.

What's just happened to Ross Barkley? Eds any insides to it that you know of? lol.

1.) 31 Aug 2017 23:13:45
Out till at least December. Available in January at a lower fee meaning a higher signing fee for both him and his agent. Makes sense for everyone, except Everton, to wait till January.

31 Aug 2017 22:48:36
Barkley situation strange. Fee agreed, personal terms agreed, having medical, changes his mind. Wants to wait till January to evaluate his decisions then. So in other words someone rang his agent saying don't sign we will buy you in January. Shame.

1.) 31 Aug 2017 23:02:55
Or he failed his medical.

2.) 31 Aug 2017 23:20:17
No. The player is clearly crocked on a serious level. The Everton owners are also baffled. They don't want him and were happy to sell him to Chelsea for 35m. He failed the medical and the rest is his agent spin in an attempt to preserve his value in January. Ed's am I wrong? A player doesn't agree personal terms, travel across the country, strap on some running shorts and THEN do a u-turn once they get upon a treadmill.

{Ed018's Note - it's certainly bizarre and I'm interested in seeing if there's more to the story}

3.) 01 Sep 2017 02:01:02
J's point in the above post makes a lot of sense too. A lower fee likely will equal a bigger signing on bonus and if he waits the whole year, im sure it'll be almost double.

4.) 01 Sep 2017 09:52:33
More than likely it seemed he wanted spurs all summer anyway.

15 Aug 2017 09:47:57
Some of out on loan players did well the week end. Loftus cheek really got in to his game. zouma solid apart from one mistake. Abraham was a handful.

1.) 15 Aug 2017 13:49:51
RLC was really really good. Excellent PL debut for Palace, and he was easily Palace's best player on the day.
Zouma apparently got Stoke's man of the match, so that's positive as well. Early signs looking good.

06 Jul 2017 20:26:31
Charly musonda gets the number 17 shirt.

1.) 06 Jul 2017 20:38:06
It seems he will stay at club.

2.) 06 Jul 2017 20:44:07
I'll be extremely happy if he is back up to hazard, Pedro and Willian.

3.) 06 Jul 2017 21:09:01
Would rather Traore to be honest. Think charley is too lightweight for the prem.

4.) 06 Jul 2017 21:17:42
adam think your right in terms of size. but give the kid a chance. a very skillful talented lad. he can learn to defend the ball off Hazard.
and tbh Troare is just a skinny and lightweight.

5.) 06 Jul 2017 21:33:57
Think at the moment he's more suitable to the Spanish League that's all. Or a loan to another Prem or Championship side.

6.) 06 Jul 2017 21:39:13
love to see him given a chance. just hope he can take it.

7.) 06 Jul 2017 21:50:16
Hope so too pal!

8.) 06 Jul 2017 22:29:22
Look at d size of coutinho that is all. size means nothing.

9.) 06 Jul 2017 23:37:46
Coutinho has bulked up mate. As has Firmino. Both look considerably bigger then when they first joined. Charley just looks too lightweight for me at the moment.

10.) 07 Jul 2017 07:11:58
Charly's a bit light, that's true. But he looks "bigger" than before, so it's clear he's been working on it. His balance is amazing also, which helps him overcome his slight build. Mahrez for example is just as lightweight, but he's handled the PL just fine. I think Musonda will adapt just fine.

11.) 07 Jul 2017 08:27:06
Most are correct, give Musonda time and space and he looks good but he is way to fragile for the Premiership.

30 Sep 2016 09:15:35
As far as I can see conte has got the whole team wrong. From playing Kante so deep, to ivanovic starting a game.
We need o start pressing and playing to our teams strengths. Too much sitting back isn't what players like hazard, Willian, fabregas azpilicueta like. Even john terry doesn't like playing with that much pressure. Room needs to be made for cesc. Without him we lack far too much. I'm hoping conte starts with 3 at the back. And we start pressing, we won't seee the best out of Kante until we do. If we are winning the ball high up the pitch cesc will play them balls, two up top also, at the moment it's so easy for defender to pass out from the back because costa can't chase down all 4, with hazard and Willian so deep.

Would help if we played him on the left, instead of the right.

Yeah I always supported him. But watching him at the bridge many times made me really not like him. Head down, terrible passing, runs around like a headless chicken.

Italian football suits him. I probably wouldn’t take him. But then he is a Chelsea fan. Their is some passion their.
