I think there's confusion. where Nathan has been posted I believe it means Nathaniel Chalobah. not Nathan who is currently on loan at Vitesse.

Why disrupt the tempo. Chelsea can set a premiership record for the most wins in a season so surely a little bit of history is more important than 'experimenting' as I doubt he has not seen them all at sometime this season and has an idea of who will progress and who won't.

I agree with you c1915. Let's set a new record. Maybe give JT a few minutes against Sunderland if we are 2 or 3 up but otherwise pre-season is the time to look at players like Musunda.

My two big hopes for next year are, Lewis Baker staying with the first team next year and Mason Mount going out on a good loan.
Without doubt Mason could be the best we have ever seen come out of our accademy. Subject to him keeping his feet on the ground!

You guys do know that the club get a set number of medals to give out and they can give them to anyone they want, right? It's been explained many times. The days of needing X number of games before you got a winners medal ended years ago, if anyone is suggesting we play certain players just so that they get medals.

I'm happy to be corrected but as I understand it, for a player to receive a medal he has to have been on the pitch for a min of five games!
The club can give out what amounts to replica medals at its discretion.

A player has to make 5 league appearances in order to be eligible for an Premiership medal. Exceptions are always made on a discretionary basis. A club can request exemption and order a medal if it wants any additional medals for some squad members.
Chelsea have a good record for asking for additional medals.
