Congrats to the players, manager and staff, and all fans (especially posters on this site) of the best football club in England and Premier League Champions.

I hope we have a great summer and are able to sign all our targets so we can not only wi.

Win the league again next season but also make a good run in the Champions League.

Sorry, I forgot to mention getting the double over the Gunners as well, that would be great icing on a wonderful cake.

What a goal by Dave on his natural side, and he sprayed a few good passes aswell, should have had an assist to Costa.

As a fan of this great club I'm concerned that 6 days before the start of the new season, after which we had our worst finish in decades, and we have sold no-one from last year's 1st team (loan players like pato and Falcao don't count) and we've added only 2 players, none of whom play in the back 4 where we have the most issues. Ivanovic is somehow still our best option at rb and we're depending on Terry or Cahill even when Zouma comes back. We gave up 21 more goals last season than the title winning season. Any signing made between now and the close of the window will need a little time to integrate. I think realistically, the way things stand now, even with no Europe, well be lucky to finish top 4.

Ivanovic isn't our best option at RB, Aina is. It just depends whether Conte trusts him or not.

Don't be ridiculous. Try to be realistic. Defence is not only 4 in the back (defending starts with strikers), if you relay on back 4 than you don't stand a chance.

Blah blah blah. It's not as simple as saying here's 40 million your centre back is ours. Jesus. And what is the point in settling for a average centre back when we actually need some of the best, clubs don't want to sell the best of the business. Give the club some credit.

Good job by England's manager not watching names on a team sheet but seeing the changes his team needed to make to get a result. (Feels like he had to be pushed by press and fans though but he acted nonetheless. ) Now let's see the starting lineup against Slovakia.

Not sure if Italy Vs Belgium could have gone any better for Chelsea. Our incoming manager looks like a genius for the win with a clearly less skilled squad, Hazard was by far the best player on his team and the players we moved on and we're criticized for doing so (still regret we sold them) were probably the 2 worst players on the entire pitch with Debryne being the worst imo due to ability and expectations. He must have given the ball away thus squandering chances at least 10 times. Also the DM we're trying to buy from Roma was the 1st sub (didn't understand why, he wasn't bad and seems to have a good shot from range) so maybe Roma will snap our hand off for that 2nd offer Lol.

Personally I thought Niangollan was mediocre in that game, I'm not judging him overall though.

I can't disagree Geffro, never said he played well, but watching the match do you think he was Belgium's worst player to that point in the match and deserved to be 1st sub?

By the way, whoever scouted, recommended, or signed Michael Hector (loan to Reading I think) at Chelsea should resign. I watched him a few times playing for Jamaica and he is terrible, not good in any aspect of game where you would think with experience and training he might one day get on the pitch for us.

Belgium was outplayed tactically. Having big names doesn't mean that you have a team.

That doesn't make sense to me, we would be willing to pay 10m over the odds to the club instead of 50,000 more weekly to the player we highly covet. I'm sure we can sell 1 more 50K a week player currently on our books to accommodate Pogba

Well, Frensham all I can tell you is that former Chelsea Manager Avram Grant manages the Ghanaian Nat'L team that Baba plays on and I'm sure we've reached out to him for insight on the player. Also, in his first season in Germany's top division to be touted as the best left back in the entire league says something. Is he worth the transfer fee now, I don't know time will tell, but I'm definitely not disappointed that he'll be joining CFC.

Only suits our style if Cesc plays to get him long passes and his pace on the counter attack is a plus. Against teams that sit deep where we needed that pass an go it could get ugly and on defence when we press Lukaku is barely half as active Costa, he plays lazy without the ball.

I'm not saying I agree that we need him but he's much better at hold up play than I thought and has a good touch with his pass and makes good decisions. He lacks pace and is probably a better finisher with his head than his feet, not sure about his fit with our style of play.

I agree we started that way Miss Speedie, they were pressing us hard and we were giving their player's space to pick passes but I thought we picked it up after the long break from the Cahill collision. I felt it was the type of match (opponent) though where Fab should have started for Matic.
