Ed002 says on Everton page we are planning to sell Tomori- my bet is Burnley to replace Tarkowski or Aston Villa.

RJ28P

1.) 07 Jul 2019 16:12:52
We also have Clarke-Salter and Guehi at CB so plenty of good players coming through!

2.) 07 Jul 2019 17:01:41
Clarke Salter is nowhere near good enough and never will be. Personally I’d like us to keep Tomori especially as Lampard knows him well. I think he’s got potential.

3.) 07 Jul 2019 18:34:43
After Lamps has evaluated the entire squad it maybe the right time to thin out our loan army.

If it’s Zouma, Tamori or Salter, I just hope it’s Lamps and his team who make the final decision.

I’m more interested in how Lamps will set up his side and how flexible he will be from match to match and during matches!

{Ed002's Note - I am not so sure you understand how things work. Over the past three weeks there have been numerous meetings with other clubs including Twente, Atletico, Metz, Atalanta, Bayern Munich, Torino, PSG, Cercle Brugge, Real Madrid, Hoffenheim and others as the club has already sold or released 26 players.}

4.) 07 Jul 2019 18:36:50
We can't keep them all hoping that they will someday be good enuf for us . Sometimes we have to take a call and let them achieve their potential elsewhere.

I never felt Salah was made for us . Ever . don't feel it now either.

Just my opinion.

Ktbffh.

5.) 07 Jul 2019 19:07:56
Good luck to the 26 players who have left. I hope you all have successful careers and I’m sure that one or two will come back to haunt us!

6.) 08 Jul 2019 02:30:35
Did Ed002 mean a sale or a loan though for Tomori?

31 May 2019 22:45:39
Ed002, I know you are reluctant to share anything on this page (and for good reason), but please can we have an update on Sarri and Juventus? Would be ridiculous to remove him for Lampard, as much as I like the latter.

RJ28P

{Ed002's Note - As I explained, Mr Sarri is uncomfortable with his treatment by the fans - particularly at home games he has explained. There is no need to go further than that in explanation. I have explained elsewhere that Juventus moved through three others to get to Mr Sarri.}

1.) 31 May 2019 23:01:36
The match going fans really screwed the club over this season. No way around it.

It's a real shame, as I have no clue which coach we're going to end up with now. I pray it's not going to be Allegri.

2.) 31 May 2019 23:19:57
Thank you Ed002. A massive mistake by the fans and the club. Safe to assume they'll pick the 'fan choice' of Lampard to replace him?

{Ed002's Note - The club were not the instigators of this but they knew it was coming.}

3.) 31 May 2019 23:38:32
The match day 'fans' at work again. Have a feeling we're going to end like Liverpool post-Benitez. 5 years in the wilderness before we start properly competing again.

4.) 01 Jun 2019 00:29:44
Absolutely gutted, the man came here with some fans just waiting for a reason to hate on him, it's disgusting the way a lot of match going fans and people in the media have treated him. You wouldn't see a manager get as much hate as Sarri has for achieving their targets at any other club. Wish the best for him, no doubt he'll have a lot of success at Juve. As for us if it's Lampard to replace him i can't see us challenging for top 4 next season, especially since it doesn't seem as if we're going to appeal to CAS and Hazard's off. Hopefully the board will give Lampard a season without big expectations.

5.) 01 Jun 2019 04:39:56
Yet, it’s the match day fans that call out other fans for not being real if they don’t go to the games. The booing from the Chelsea fans throughout the season was embarrassing. Not the best season league wise (20+ points behind city and pool) but a Europa league win was a cherry on a average looking cake.

{Ed001's Note - you may have been 20 points behind but that was because those 2 scored a lot more than usual.}

6.) 01 Jun 2019 01:12:19
Out of interest Ed002, were the 3 names before Sarri Guardiola, Deschamps and Pochettino?

{Ed002's Note - Simone Inzaghe not Guardiola.}

7.) 01 Jun 2019 07:11:31
Ed001, Ed002, while a sizeable proportion of Chelsea fans wanted Sarri out, a lot of us wanted him to stay. Why are our voices not getting heard?

{Ed002's Note - You should have gone to the games.}

8.) 01 Jun 2019 08:09:02
So there are still conflicting reports in the media.

Eds your tone feels like you think it's pretty much done and Sarri Will be leaving.

I'm guessing that you think that this is a formality now and that he'll leave?

I'm quite ashamed by what I see on this site.

{Ed002's Note - The situation is as I explained it. Nothing will have changed overnight.}

9.) 01 Jun 2019 08:17:14
Listen, had it been Spurs, Arsenal or Man Utd who had finished 3rd and won the Europa League then their set of fans would have been overwhelmed by the teams achievement. Some of our fans have just been too spoilt. the same matching day going fans have created an atmosphere comparable to a morgue in certain games.

Our set of fans expect too much. I don't want to hear all this nonsense about it was the boards fault etc. The board have tried to change our teams identity but have failed because of the fans.

How could you not call this season a success just because we finished 20 points behind City and Liverpool who were phenomenal? Consider all the other contributing factors.

No pre-season and yet we achieve. Our fan have abused Sarri, booed his substitutions constantly, they have booed Jorginho constantly and maybe because Sarri had purchased him? Jorginho was fantastic barring a slight mid season blip which every player goes through but our fans made him feel like crap. Booing Alonso, Willian and so on. it's disgusting for the morale of the team. It's embarrassing for anyone to witness this behaviour As it should not have any association with Chelsea FC. The fact that the team achieved what they did through the above is a massive success.

Unfortunately, LondonBlue is right our fans were waiting for a reason to abuse the manager which is disgusting. Shame on the fans, hope you are happy.

10.) 01 Jun 2019 09:31:39
Unfortunately Shak some fans will be happy.

A lot of posters who expressed their dislike for Sarri and certain players have now gone missing after we finished as the top London Club and won yet another pot.

I’m on a family holiday and the news about Sarri, if confirmed, has spoilt my week.

I posted several times about the atmosphere at the ground for the last few home games being subdued and on occasion toxic but I do believe the majority of fans supported Sarri and what he was trying to achieve. It’s yet another sad day for our club.

11.) 01 Jun 2019 10:53:31
I agree it's a sad day Tom. Anyway have a good holiday mate.

12.) 01 Jun 2019 22:44:32
Opinions were all aloud one the football has been terrible all season guys we want to be entertained like city and Liverpool do there fans that’s all, good football Jorginho has only played good football when Kante got injured and the subs I guess them right every game the players are to blame when they lose and they got the europa and there to thank for that, they turned up he will do well in Italy as the football is slow and I hope he does well.

13.) 01 Jun 2019 22:46:01
Jackson, why you wound not want alegri? He reminds me very much of Conte which was amazing manager.

14.) 01 Jun 2019 23:28:21
HAHAHAHA Some of you lot on here are hilarious, majority of people on here wanted Sarri out at one point or another during the season. And because its now happening on his own accord, you all start blaming the match going fans. Behave.

Man was out of his depth, had one player to rely on in Hazard and now he's going and knowing we have a transfer ban coming up, he jumped ship. He already said he can't train these players to play his way, also said he couldn't motivate them, yet that's his job, but you all feel sorry for him? If Spurs, United and Arsenal didn't drop points at silly times, we wouldn't be 3rd or even top 4. Get a grip some of you.

15.) 01 Jun 2019 23:48:44
Nibby, your opinions should always be welcomed and respected and at least you’ve been consistent.

Everyone I thought realised this was a transition season.

The club chose this manager for a reason and at the start of the season MOST fans would have settled for a league position that guaranteed Champions League football and if we won a pot, then happy days.

Also, most fans wanted the young players to be given a chance and integrated into the squad.

Hazard was always going, so the club made plans for his departure.

16.) 02 Jun 2019 00:30:25
Adam just because some fans on here wanted him out at some point doesn't mean their opinions can't change, and even if it hasn't it still doesn't justify the pathetic abuse he's received from our 'supporters'. I've been to numerous games to watch Chelsea under a manager i didn't want and watch players i didn't like but i'd never look to boo and abuse them. You say he relied on Hazard yet if it wasn't for Sarri wanting to play a more attacking, possession based style of play instead of a defensive one like Hazard's played in nearly every season here, i doubt he would've done as well as he did. The man got us to two finals and the points tally we got in the league would've been enough to finish in the top 4 in most premier league seasons so i wouldn't say that's being "out of his depth".

17.) 02 Jun 2019 10:45:11
LondonBlue I wouldn't bother debating with Adam. His views have always been cynical and have mainly lacked respect unfortunately. He is also the first to disregard another's opinion on this site.

He is very quick to credit the poor form of our rivals as the main reason to why we finished 3rd and even in the top 4, however, he may have been hiding under a rock when Sarri went 18 games unbeaten to rack up a lot of points at the start of the season with no pre-season. He says we are lucky because our rivals dropped points at silly times, did we just not beat Arsenal 4-1 and take away their 2nd opportunity to qualify for the champions league? Are we still lucky? If we didn't qualify via top we have done so via Europa. I guess we are still lucky. Adam the league is a long process, the final positions are deserving to all clubs involved. Man City won the league by 1 point and they deserve as per the final table. So go and support your club rather than make stupid comments about luck.

He epitomizes why Ed2 calls Chelsea fans vegetables. Sarri's accomplishments at Chelsea are evident and Juventus wouldn't be after him if he was out of his depth at Chelsea.

18.) 02 Jun 2019 12:15:33
Blue and Shak, some very valid points.

19.) 02 Jun 2019 12:33:55
LRD, I think Allegri is too much of a coward so to speak in setting his team up for matches.

He's obviously a good manager, but he's scared to take control of matches and go on the offensive, even when his team is far and away superior in quality than his opponent. I don't like that.

20.) 02 Jun 2019 23:30:16
I'm not happy he's going, neither am I sad he's going - if I'm honest. im a bit indifferent to it. I went to a fair few home games, I didn't agree with some decisions but never booed them and I've never booed a player.

I think we'll look back on this, see how he does with Juve, and think of what could have been. The main thing now is, if he does take over, to get behind Lampard. He won't have the easiest of jobs, he and the squad will need to be supported through some tough times.

27 Mar 2019 23:42:09
Ed002, you've mentioned Chelsea expect to move Pedro on this summer. Is a move to Spain back on the cards? Or is he likely to wind down his career in America/ China or somewhere like that?
Whatever happens, I wish him well. Consumate professional, massively underrated and a huge part of the the title under Conte and FA Cup triumph last year.

RJ28P

{Ed002's Note - Nothing is “on the cards”.}

1.) 28 Mar 2019 06:07:43
You forgot to add that his (Pedro) trophy cabinet is bigger than the Empire State building. Top intelligent player that's very dangerous in front of goal. I love the guy, he gives his all.

01 Dec 2018 23:43:42
Just want to say hope anyone going tomorrow gives Andre Schurrle and Claudio Ranieri a good reception. Former is a genuine Chelsea fan and deserved better treatment here and latter is one of the best blokes in football- had the pleasure of talking to him after Leicester's title win and could not believe how humble he was.

RJ28P

30 Jul 2018 23:38:28
Ed002 said on Arsenal page Willian is expected to move on. Think we will get Pulisic to replace him.

RJ28P

1.) 31 Jul 2018 01:20:44
well he said that he is happy in London yesterday when talking to the media seems unlikely so close to the window ending as utd seem like his only suitors now so they would have to act quickly I'm not bothered if he stays under sarri I think he could get a lot out of Willian.

2.) 31 Jul 2018 10:12:20
Not too sure of this signing just yet. he might come in here and will not not a first team starter and that could hamper the development. seems unlikely for me specially when he's been advised against.

Bailey was the prime target we missed I believe for this season. Dembele too costly!

Zaha probably the most likeliest/ easiest unless ofcourse there is another target being looked into.

3.) 01 Aug 2018 01:35:18
Correct me if I'm wrong but, 'expected to move on" doesn't mean that it's certain that he's going.

14 Aug 2019 22:49:57
Considering that's the best team in Europe, I'd say we are on the right track. Why did anyone let Abraham step up, he clearly was petrified. Dave or Pedro should have done it. Regardless, Pulisic, Giroud, Mount and Kante the big positives for me. Emerson good again too.

RJ28P

1.) 14 Aug 2019 23:03:48
I have already posted that IMO Tammy’s general play was good and a lot better than Giroud’s.

I do think he will get over twenty goals a season.

2.) 14 Aug 2019 23:11:33
Tammy was good as well when he came on. It's a shame his pen was a dud.

He did really well battling Van Dijk and Matip. He combined well with the rest of the team and won us the penalty to tie it up.
I hope he's strong enough mentally to get past this, as he's shown he can be a really useful player for us.

Kante was immense, and I hope he didn't reaggravate the injury again by going the full 120. Easily the best player on the pitch. What a guy.
Mount was excellent as well when coming on. Emerson fantastic down the left.

I could go on and on. Kepa with some brilliant saves, Zouma with solid interventions all night, and also Tomori with some assured play when he came on. Should give him confidence! (Though I hope Christensen isn't badly injured) .

Pulisic also with a good full debut. Lots of positives, and I hope one bad penalty in a glorified friendly (though obviously one you prefer to win) doesn't make everyone overlook that.
We're playing good football, and already Lampard made adjustments that made us look much more solid. Rudiger and Willian close to returning, Reece almost returning to training, and Callum should be back in a couple of weeks as well. If we get a good result on Sunday then I'd say we're off to a pretty good start even after the walloping from last Sunday.

3.) 15 Aug 2019 00:51:37
i worry abraham doesn't seem to have the composure to be a pl striker missed big chance again in extra time.

11 Aug 2019 23:12:53
It's the beautiful unpredictability of football that we lost that game 4-0. Could easily have been 3 or 4 to the good at half time. Major questions over the VAR for ignoring the foul on Abraham that preceded the second goal and also the Zouma head injury on the fourth goal. That said, a fully-fit Kante prevents both of those. Thought the senior lads- Zouma, Pedro and Dave- let the youngsters down today. Needed that slice of luck too- hitting the woodwork twice is classic us in recent years. Thought Abraham looked good in first half but faded in second, Pulisic showed nice but brief moments, big positives for me were Mount and Emerson. Looking forward to when we have James, Rudiger, Hudson-Odoi and Loftus-Cheek back too. That is when you can actually judge our squad and performances. We go again- hopefully Wednesday is better results-wise, but the performance, certainly going forward on another day could have been bang on the money.

RJ28P

26 Mar 2019 12:11:23
Really interesting comments RE: Jay DaSilva from Ed002 on the Liverpool page (that came about due to a different matter) .
I hope the club try and integrate himself, James, Mount and Abraham next year, along with Ampadu and CHO. All of the first four have proved themselves aptly ahead of the Championship and the latter two have never disappointed when given a chance. None of them will take up Registration spots next season either- if we are going to make use of our academy, let's start now. Would also love to see Dujon Sterling get a two year loan a la Christensen to really establish himself somewhere in Europe.

RJ28P

1.) 26 Mar 2019 16:40:09
There's been talk of Wigan trying to get Dujon on loan for next season as they will be losing Reece obviously.

I wouldn't mind that. Let him take a step up in level and see how he does.

Similarly, it'll be interesting to see what the club decide to do with Trevoh Chalobah and Tomori. Both of them have arguably been their team's best player and should be ready for a step up as well. I'd say Tomori could even feature for our first team.

2.) 27 Mar 2019 08:50:35
Seems like Bristol City could sign him permanently. Unless he decides he doesn't want the move.

3.) 28 Mar 2019 11:18:39
He’ll only join Bristol City if we don’t make an offer to him. If we do he’ll turn down joining them and just return from loan.

08 Mar 2019 15:09:35
The usual FIFA corruption. Managed to lock Chelsea's punishment during the appeal period, but Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico all managed to get leniency applied.
Farce. Hope we take them to the Court of Arbitration or whichever power has the ability to sort out FIFA's blatant favouritism.

RJ28P

1.) 08 Mar 2019 21:16:25
Yeah they've just broken the precedent they themselves have set.

Pretty curious, but that's FIFA for you.

26 Jan 2019 22:09:45
If Hudson-Odoi wants to go, then sell him to Leipzig for less, rather than Bayern. Can't let their bullying tactics succeed. Has clearly been tapped up in private and his agent has fed him a dream.

RJ28P

{Ed0333's Note - the dream off playing first team football.

1.) 26 Jan 2019 22:21:11
Ed0333, you honestly think he will start at Bayern ahead of Coman, Muller, Gnabry and potentially Fekir and Pepe after the summer?

{Ed0333's Note - Coman is a right footer who prefers playing on the left, Muller plays through the middle, Gnabry prefers the left hand side and Fekir is a playmaker. Has Pepe signed for Bayern yet? So yes I think Odoi will get game time.

2.) 26 Jan 2019 22:32:44
Going to have to disagree with you there. Hudson-Odoi would rather play on the left cutting inside that on the right. And as Ed002 has said, Bayern plan on signing at least 2 first team wingers in addition to Hudson-Odoi. He'll end up regretting the move massively. I could understand him going to a lesser side to get first team football, but at Bayern he has no chance.

{Ed0333's Note - no one knows if it will be a success or a failure. At least he’s put himself in a position to take a risk. He seems to have the courage of his convictions.

3.) 26 Jan 2019 22:44:41
One man's courage is another's naivety.

{Ed0333's Note - and one mans naivety is another’s dream

4.) 26 Jan 2019 22:57:03
Despite being annoyed that he's leaving, I have a huge amount of respect for CHO for turning down the money to go and play first team football. Hopefully he turns out to be a top player and wants to come back to us, but highly unlikely. I wish him all the best and hope everyone else will.

{Ed0333's Note - supremely gracious well done JD.

5.) 27 Jan 2019 02:04:27
No bad information from is agent wanting to make money terrible league to play in one big game all year in the league to play let him go if they thought he was that good we would offer him the world most likely like there trying to get ready for hazard.

6.) 27 Jan 2019 12:33:52
JD, aren't Bayern offering him £80,000 a week? Turning down money, my arse!

7.) 26 Jan 2019 23:05:29
Well Ed0333 clearly we are going to disagree on this. I think he has made himself look very bad and is taking a massive massive gamble. Renato Sanches did the same and now he can barely get an appearance, less a start.

{Ed0333's Note - the difference is Sanches is S**t

Ed002, thanks for the super interesting information as usual and good to see Frank and co. already planning to integrate people like Gallagher who can be real assets. On the topic of younger players, I think you said at one point Reinier Jesus had been a target for us, City, Real Madrid and most of Europe- safe to assume interest in him has faded? And also interest in Leon Bailey is now gone?

Agree with your dubious comments Ed001. FIFA couldn't wait to throw the book at an English team, especially with trumped-up charges available.
