Ok, his in, he looks happy, he wants to be here and I'm buzzing. I want him and Werner together, I want to see werner running beyond him or making runs wide and lukaku bullying defenders in the box. You happy with the signing ed002?

{Ed002's Note - Yes but it is a very large fee for a 28 year old.}

Not cheap, but IF he's the right player at the right club he could be perfect.

Interested to see what happens with Kane also. Cost / output / playing time / etc

One of the two will likely work out well.

Without doubt Ed but my guess is if we win trophies over the next five years the club will perceive it as value!

Absolutely Ed002, but I think we didn't have better choices.
The reported wage is mind-blowing as well.

Anyway, I try not to think of transfer fee or total costs. I will leave that to the club work what it can and can’t afford.

If we carry on winning pots like we have throughout the Roman era, I’m happy.

just think Tom, if there was a transfer fee for good posters on these sites, u would be in the 100m range, and u are just over 28 years of age. But u would have to pretend to support city or united for a couple of years, before u finished your career back at chelsea, arriving on a free.

Sid, couldn’t pretend to be a supporter of any other team although I’ve always had a strange liking for two of our local rivals. Fulham and Brentford.

Can’t wait for Saturdays game,

Funny when I read about Tammy Abraham welcoming him (Lukaku) to Chelsea when he (Abraham) should be concentrating or thinking of how would leave Chelsea. Abraham doesn’t seem to have good advisers.

What's funny about that Obinna? Tammy has been at Chelsea for a long time and he probably knows Lukaku since they were both very young.
It has nothing to do with Tammy's situation.

Putting aside Tammy not wanting to extend his contract at the club I think his attitude has appeared to be very professional.

Good luck wherever he ends up.

As a Chelsea supporter I welcome Lukaku back of course.

But £100m for a 28 year old plus extortionate wages seems wildly extravagant.

I do wish we had gone all out and paid £150m for Haaland - 5 year contract and we would have got our money back at least through his resale.

Lukaku is irredeemable money spent and just seems like bad business to me.
