It's been awhile since I've given my overview on our season so far.
Generally the feeling is brilliant, best signing this far has been Maurizo Sarri. What he has done in such a short space of time is remarkable, our football is probably the best in the league, the 1 touch football (Sarri-ball) is so quick and effective. I love watching our football, great start and long may it continue.
Here are some mentions;
Kepa has been outstanding of late, he always had the potential in Spain and im glad his showing it in the last few games. He is so agile and athletic, the two saves yesterday were top draw. I can't think of any other keeper barring De Gea who could have got them due to his reflex speed. He has the potential to be alongside De Gea and Alison as the best 3 keepers in the league, not there yet but will be in the future. Hopefully he has a fantastic season.
Rudiger - has been a rock, what makes him so good isn't his defending alone but how good he is in possession and how he puts his body on the line. He compliments the Sarri way perfectly. When he was replaced by Cahill in a prior game you could sense our football from the back wasn't assured. His passing is vital, so comfortable. He will be our Koulibaly.
Luiz - our best ball playing defender. So effective in this formation. Has looked suspect in defence at the start but has looked solid recently. Up and up I hope.
Alonso - Has looked impressive, has improved defensively and is always a threat going forward. He has proved a lot of doubters wrong. Well done lad.
Kante/ Jorginho/ Kovacic are brilliant. The best in the league in current form. Nothing more to say, I remember at the start of the season a lot of pundits saying we had the weakest midfield of the top 6.
Hazard - no words can be used at the moment.
Pedro has been class too. This type of football will always suit him. Barkley looks good and finally. Azpi will improve I'm sure.
Up and up we go.

Alisson has shown nothing yet to prove he’s one of the best I personally have been more impressed with Ederson. Alisson has a howler va Leicester.

Alison has looked good, saved two 1vs1's against us for a starters from both hazard and Willian.

Should have saved hazards first was right by him, drop the agenda. Biasty aside I’ve been far more impressed with Kepa.

Good post, nice to see some positivity.
Sarri had really bright on a few players. Great to have him.
Kepa is very good, especially as he's so much better with his feet than Tibo.
Luiz is a player, I've no idea why people dislike him.
If Morata can hit form then we have class throughout.
Top four looks very possible.

Good luck to JT in his retirement.
One of the best defenders I've EVER seen and a fantastic captain.
In my opinion it will be a long time before we see another player like him at our club.
Hope he comes back home to the bridge in some capacity sooner rather than later.
I now can't wait for his book to come out!

Tomb, I think we will be lucky to be graced by another John Terry, Frank Lampard or Drogba. These players were special quality.
John Terry was unique because he was natural born leader, phenomenal defender with a brilliant goal scoring record which defenders generally lack, he has scored more than many strikers in the premier league.
Frank Lampard was one of a kind, nobody will score from CM like he did, another like him is not possible. Just imagine aother CM popped up in the premier league with 20+ goals and countless assists per season? 200-million?
Drogba was unique not because he could score because there are strikers who score more but because he had the mental strength to do it when it mattered.
All the best JT, hope to see you again at the Bridge.

I was amazed seeing JT's history that we were willing to sell him to Huddersfield when he was 20 but JT turned the move down! Good to see that our transfer policy has improved (see de Bruyne / Salah / Lukaku)!

Bit of fun, 3 signings you'd like at Chelsea next couple of windows? Here's mine:
• Icardi - Best striker out there we could potentially sign. Pay the money. Get rid of Morata and one of either Giroud/ Batshuayi
• Zaha - Knows the league, fantastic dribbler and seems to be improving with age.
• Koulibaly - Still think we lack a quality CB to partner Rudiger. Cahill and Luiz will be good end of season and I'm not sure on Christensen he's making too many mistakes.
I'd love to see Reece James as RB too Azpi has been very poor from an unbiased point of view.

Think Koulibaly would be a great signing. However very much against Zaha. I’ve watch him a lot over he years and if Willian drives you mad with inconsistency, Zaha will make you head explode!

I’m reasonably happy with the squad we have got and I don’t think the club needs to go out and spend huge amounts in the upcoming windows.
We will have a massive issue if Hazard doesn’t sign a new contract but I guess the large fee we would demand would have to act as some sort of compensation.
We have players like Luiz, Cahill, Cesc, Pedro and Willian who will need to be replaced at some stage but I’m sure the club can manage that situation.
The unknown at the moment is this proposed loan rule. I suppose it could make us name more development players in our first team squad.

Icardi has been my choice for a good few years, Koulibaly as well however he signed a new contract and doubt we’d get him especially from Napoli. Skriniar or whoever u say his name is a very good shout, he just seemed to appear out of nowhere and become good. Lastly I would love Leon Bailey and think we have a very good chance of signing him next year.
