Ed I'm sure you've mentioned dm targets but I'll ask anyway. A lot of fans are convinced we will go for Declan rice, I can't
See it, spent a lot of money already and would need players moving on, so is there anything in chelsea and Declan rice?

{Ed002's Note - A DM player will only be needed if Kante and Jorginho were to leave. Like LB the club cannot get their first choice player which leaves them looking at other options if needs be. FL desires 19 year old Max Bird but he would not really be ready for the first team. Certainly Mateo Kovacic can play there which would be an option. Ampadu could provide cover. There has been no approach for Rice although there are those at the club who would like him, and if there there would be the huge problem of the price. So right now it is unresolved and if Chelsea know that Kante or Jorginho were to leave they will be offered players in return.}

Thanks Ed, do Chelsea really wish to sell Jorginho or just would not stand in his way if he wants out. I'm a bit concerned about the balance in the midfield. I see only Kante as the player with any defensive attributes from the midfield to attack. i still think we need CM who can cover ground/ defend to play with Kante to be able to shield the back line.

Be interesting to see how we set up. With all this attacking talent, Kante might need some help in front of the defence. I'd like Ampadu to stay as we'll need the cover.

Im guessing roma would offer diawara a dm for jorginho and inter brozovic a dm for kante. I would love us to get zakaria.

If he doesn't go out on loan, I think Ampadu will become an important part of the team.

Just because they are dms like kante and been rumored to be leaving, maybe skriniar would be offered for kante.

Ed, will we make a move for a DM if either is sold, or do we need both to be sold?

Any reason you said loftus cheek ed? Hinting at something? Guessing if jorginho and barkley went then a replacement will come in.
