I was told last night that the club is looking at Ben Foster as a replacement for WC.
If it's true and I have my doubts, I think I would be happy with that signing!

I think the idea is to challenge Kepa for the No1 spot.
I was also told Foster being English was relevant but I don’t understand what difference that makes!

Being English is likely to be because of home grown quotas Tom. Good to see Giroud might be staying now as well. As I have said previously I don't see any big money signings happening, either in or out until football resets.

I think what G8 meant was Tom being told 'hes English' makes a difference because the majority of home grown players are English.
