Yes they have exercised their buy-back clause, the rumour is that they plan to move him on for a profit because Morata wants 1st team/ choice football and Real is stacked however if he keeps scoring at the Euros then who knows.

I think morata would be the perfect signing for us and if reports are true would then allow Costa to move back to athletico. Personally I would be happy for Costa to stay but if we could bring in morata then he has to play first team football, maybe conte could try two up top otherwise morata in, Costa out as he sometimes can be a liability with his over aggressive style of play.

He is young, will improve immensely in time and has performed at the Euro's. He will be a star and hope we can get him. Whilst I love Costa's passion, I don't think he is the future and would be better back at AM. Morata is a young man (with talent) to build a future around.

That would make for a very very good summer in my opinion. Bonucci alone would be immense, though it's highly unlikely. I think Koulibaly is the most likely CB to join us, but I hope we turn our attention towards Jonathan Tah. He's already a very good CB, and he'll continue to improve as he's only 20 years old.
If Bonucci is unavailable, I'd seriously move for Tah. He's one of Germany's best defenders right now, and in a couple of years he'll be up there with the best in the world. How I wish we'd show interest.

While I think Bazoer is going to be a gem for the future, I don't think he solves our hole of a world class box to box man (such as naingolan or kante) . As for Boufal I'm not sure we have a need for someone of his skill set of the moment; however that could obviously change via departures and conte's system. We absolutely have to sign a striker this summer and although his stats aren't the greatest I think Alvaro Morata fits our needs more than anyone else we've been linked with. At centre half bonucci makes a ton of sense unless juventus charge an obscene amount of money, in which case I would enquire about Marquinhos and Umtiti.

Bonucci is the one we need most and I think we will sign him as well. Back 3 of Zouma, Bonucci and JT/ Cahill would be decent and even better when one of the younger players like Christensen come in.

As well as Morata, I think Batshuayi would be a great fit for our team as he can play as the main striker but also more as a winger or a "supporting" striker.
And Daton, Boufal is nothing like Salah. Salah had speed, and that was it. Boufal has exceptional ball control and technique and uses those skills to beat players for fun. He also scored 11 league goals for a struggling Lille side, which is pretty impressive since he's not a striker. I don't think we really need a guy like Boufal now though, unless Pedro/ Willian/ Oscar leaves (and I hope at least one of them will) .
Ideal summer for me: Tah (because let's face it, Bonucci isn't leaving Juve), Verratti and Batshuayi.

I would prefer us to sign an older player like bonucci who would offer his experience and skills to the younger players without hindering the young players too much as he only has a few years in the tank left unlike someone like koulibaly who has 5 more 40+ game seasons in him who would stop the likes of clarke salter and Christensen getting into the team.

Wheely, I asked Ed about Tah on the European pages a couple of weeks ago. And Ed002 replied that there were no plans for Tah to leave Leverkusen right now.
