Nice one it's always nice to win the league in good fashion but haven't felt this good since Ancelotti. Next season we need to back Conte and build. Even if a few results on the bounce don't go out way we need to stick with this guy classy, passionate and more importantly a winner.

Tommy, I think there's only Begovic, Ake and Aina who don't have the required games to automatically get a medal. And out of them only Aina could potentially qualify if he plays in all 3 remaining games. Having said that I believe clubs can request extra medals but I'm not sure if that's if they have more than 25 players who've played over 5 games or just in general.

Conte uses Fabregas perfectly. Games like last nights are the ideal matches for Fab where we will press and press but when we are in a pressured environment it has to be the bench with the possibility of a last quarter cameo role.

Fabregas will get loads of game time next season it's vital we keep him. He will start all league and FA Cup games and champions league matches and also home games against lesser teams when we need to break them down.

Let us get behind these fantastic players and our club. got to say I have been astonished by the posters on here calling for this player and that player to be replaced. totally naive to say the least. one actually said after Liverpool drew with us at Anfield and Costa missed the penalty that that could cost us the title. another spoke of "that defence". at the start of the season. incredible but that is life. anyway, we are 1 win from the title. keep this team together, bring in a few superstars, promote a few youngsters and who knows. my fellow Chelsea fans I salute you. we are the best.

Come on G8 it's a banter site, now we have nearly won the league it's easy to criticise earlier negative comments, hindsight is a wonderful thing. Going into a campaign with a back 3 of Dave, Cahill and Luiz, woukd not have filled many Chelsea supporters with confidence. As it turns out they were brilliant together with Moses and alonso, who again would not have been in many supporters starting line ups. We have been lucky with injuries, we have not had Europe, but we seem to have a great team spirit and togetherness, and a good manager plus of course one major ingredient that is Kante.

Here is my ideal situation regarding or youth players, really want to know your guys thoughts.
Christensen: starting 11 or rotate him a lot with another cb
Ake: use more in league games, maybe against smaller teams to gain experience
Aina: Lon out to a chanpionship team where he will get games
Zouma: sell as he will waste his talent on the bench
Baba: sell
Chalobah: keep and use more or loan out to a prem side to get game time
Rlc: loan out to somewhere like Bournemouth
Kennedy: sell if conte doesn't see a future
Baker: use as a rotational cm in our team
Traore: keep and use as our backup striker, give more games
Abraham: loan out to a prem side
Batshauyi: sell or loan.

Christensen, Ame, Chalobah and Baker to be used as rotation and slowly integrated these four are the ones closest to the first team.
Traore back as back up striker Abraham and Loftus-Cheek need a premier league loan.
Kenedy, Musonda and Solanke on loans maybe somewhere like Monchengladbach in Germany.

What is everyone's preferences regarding youth players like rlc baker ake etc
Personally I think we should play Christensen in our starting 11, give ake chances against smaller teams, keep chalobah and baker and give them game time in cups and a few in the league, and loan or sell michy and use traore as our second striker.

I totally agree with you personally I'd play Chalobah over signing Bakayoko as his long range shooting will give us a different dynamic. Ake, Christensen and Baker have all had successful loans so now we have to integrate them.

Hi Ed, hope you're well? Wanted to ask a question about the way targets are identified at Chelsea. It seems like there has been much more interest in players from Serie A since Conte was appointed - the signing of Alonso, bid for Koulibaly, interest in Rudiger, Nainggolan, Bonucci etc.
Is this a direct consequence of having a manager with such strong understanding of Italy and players there or just a coincidence?

{Ed002's Note - Conte will know players from Serie A bettyer than he would know them from elsewhere. Interest in the players you mention predates Conte though.
Regardless, it is a collaboratorive process that involves advisors, scouts, the coach and his team and the Director of Football.}
