Apparently we are close to Davinson Sanchez. That would be an excellent signing.

1.) 13 Aug 2017 17:49:04
Where did you get that from?

2.) 13 Aug 2017 17:53:23
Haven't seen anything saying we have interest let alone being close to signing him. Cb's shouldn't even be a priority for us right now but he is a great player no doubt.

{Ed002's Note - He has certainly been of interest to both Chelsea and Barcelona.}

3.) 13 Aug 2017 18:29:03
Ahh fair enough, thought we had interest a while ago but didn't think it was serious, just the typical twitter talk. As soon as a player is mentioned on FT it apparently means were in talks.

4.) 13 Aug 2017 20:24:43
An Ajax media man apparently said it to Dutch television.

Summary of the Sharkopod for Chelsea.
Joao Cancelo: Club are in negotiations, encouraging signs, something could be done.
Alex Sandro: Chelsea still very keen and pushing. Juventus in negotiations to sign Ricardo Perreira of Nice, he can play LB- might be a replacement?
Candreva: Appears off the table.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is the replacement target.
Drinkwater: Interest is there, primary CM target.
Danny Rose: Very unlikely, if he moves then he goes to Manchester.
Ryan Bertrand: Could turn to him again.
Djibril Sidibe: Might be an option but very unlikely.
Serge Aurier: Off to Manchester United.
Virgil Van Dijk: Damaged goods. He wants a Liverpool move, but they'd need to patch things up. He is officially not for sale but interest from Arsenal and City and long term interest from us. A deal might come at the right price.
Club wanted to sell Kenedy but only had offers of loan deals.
Tomori: Might go on loan- Brighton was mentioned but they already have one Premier League loan (Izzy Brown) .
Hope this helps for people who didn't get a chance to listen.

2.) 11 Aug 2017 19:07:02
Somewhat interesting that he didn't mention Costa, when he talked about outgoings.

3.) 11 Aug 2017 19:20:21
God bless our club.

4.) 11 Aug 2017 19:55:31
Back from my mini-break from posting. you missed off Sergi Roberto from the list. one person at the club maintains an interest (overall interest of the club has been long-term) .

Thanks for the sharkopod Ed002 - the music was keeping me entertained while on a less than interesting conference call!

{Ed002's Note - Great.}

5.) 11 Aug 2017 20:07:21
The music is something to be desired lol. the intro was like I was going into another universe! Cheers tho Ed👍🏼👍🏼.

6.) 11 Aug 2017 20:34:40
The Cancelo deal excites me. He's got pace, skill and and definitely not afraid to put a tackle in. The lads got a decent cross on him aswell and at the age of 23 and the price being touted around for him I think we could be getting ourselves a real bargain!

7.) 11 Aug 2017 22:50:46
Ed002, I didn't hear you mention Ross Barkley, is that because we are not interested in him? Thought he was a midfielder that A Conte liked? Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - I wouldn't hold your breath.}

02 Aug 2017 20:49:53
Ed002, tried the search function but couldn't find anything newer than 2015. Do we hold any interest in Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain?

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any approach to Arsenal at this time.}

1.) 02 Aug 2017 23:54:17
Thanks Ed002.

23 Jul 2017 10:02:07
Ed002, possible to ask about Richaelison of Fluminese?

{Ed002's Note - Fluminense's Richarlison is attracting the attention of Roma, Napol, Chelsea, Milan and Ajax. Chelsea's interest dates from when Mourinho was manager. Any move to England now would be hampered by the Work Permit process. If the fee can be settled on Ajax would be his best solution.}

1.) 23 Jul 2017 11:06:17
Welcome back Ed002. Brilliant to have you back on here. Your info is second to none.

2.) 23 Jul 2017 13:22:58
Welcome back ed002. Happy to see u back. Now please tell us if chelsea's interest in moussa and Ousmane Dembele is still there? Also any discussions held with respective clubs?
Further any updates on other targets?

{Ed002's Note - I am not going to get into any questions about discussions that may have happened. I would not expect either to join as it stands right now.}

22 Jul 2017 23:41:47
Interesting Conte says he hopes to have another squad member in before Singapore ends. AOC? Sandro? Richairlison? Bertrand? Someone completely different?

1.) 23 Jul 2017 00:59:01
Yeah i found that pretty interesting, he could have meant Pedro joining back with the squad but who knows. We haven't been in advanced talks with anyone i don't think, just rumours. It'll be an interesting few days me thinks.

2.) 23 Jul 2017 05:57:36
conte's words:
"we need to improve and increase our squad we are trying to find the right solution."

fingers crossed- for more players cos conte's right. that was real madrid's strength last season (depth! )

3.) 23 Jul 2017 10:22:06
Could be the Ox.

4.) 23 Jul 2017 12:03:30
Who's AOC?

{Ed033's Note - Probably, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain

5.) 23 Jul 2017 01:13:43
Is that what Conte said? I read that he was saying that Chelsea need to buy more players given that we have sold so many experienced players.

Moving away from the above and onto Richarlison. Ed any truth?

{Ed018's Note - I find it unlikely with getting a work permit being difficult.}

6.) 23 Jul 2017 13:10:17
it would be florente.

Today felt like one of those days ever since Jagielka stopped those 2 shots on the line.

11 Dec 2017 11:58:57
Need to play the first leg well and need the Bridge to roar.

1.) 11 Dec 2017 20:14:22
We will have to play both legs good, as was seen last year only ome good leg may not be enough against Barcelona (psg vs barca)

2.) 12 Dec 2017 17:55:23
If we are to have a chance, it will be won at the Camp Nou. 0-0 at home is fine - whatever we do, we must not concede at the Bridge.

3.) 13 Dec 2017 09:09:06
Ps unless we win 5-1 of course!

06 Dec 2017 01:02:49
If you want to point to a game when the group was lost- blowing the 2-0 lead to home to Roma. Still we've now twice dominated one of the best defensive units in football, I don't fear anyone in the draw. To win the CL we had to beat Napoli, Benfica, Barcelona and Bayern. At least 3 out of those 4 are European heavyweights.

1.) 06 Dec 2017 14:07:51
It all depends who we draw - we could have got Bayern, Real or Juve. Imagine if we draw Besiktas and Roma draw Real. We always beat Barcelona and we owe one to PSG.

2.) 06 Dec 2017 15:07:30
Miss Daren Wood: not always if there will be Norwegian referee we will struggle.

19 Oct 2017 08:45:35
I assume the people saying spend whatever it takes on X, Y, Z next summer will be happy when the likes of Musonda, RLC, Abraham all leave cause they are fed up at not getting chances?

1.) 19 Oct 2017 09:42:47
Spot on CFC.

2.) 19 Oct 2017 11:04:00
Like many I would like to see our young, talented players given a chance at suitable times but Loftus-Cheek had plenty of opportunities and never took them and in the modern game you have to make your mark quickly. Solanke and Ake had a lot of support but to me have done nothing that makes me think we should miss them. Everyone trusts Conte and he obviously does not think Musonda and Abraham are good enough at this stage of their careers to be involved and to be honest few have set the game alight when they have left. Those that have like De Bruyne were brought 'in' but as they also found to their cost and possibly ours, you do not tell the club what you want.

31 Aug 2017 00:30:07
Drinkwater, Llorente and Mahrez.

1.) 31 Aug 2017 02:40:53
Drinkwater, Mahrez and Sagna (for back up) . We win the league with them three CFC at least push till the very end.

Ed001, I'd be shocked if he went to PSG. They already have FFP problems, plus Yuri as backup and Kurzawa. Surely Kurzawa wouldn't be happy with a bench role?

{Ed001's Note - he probably wouldn't be but they do not see him as good enough in the long term.}

Aurier is too much trouble hence why PSG want rid. Belotti is so far only really top quality for one season, not worth 100m euros. Sandro has been dealt with at length, Juventus screwed us around a lot and we should remember that for the future. We wanted a loan to buy with Sanches, Bayern wanted a loan with a guarantee of over 40 appearances.

If he is scared of competiting with Bakayoko, Kante, Fabregas and Drinkwater, not sure why he thinks he'll fair better with Wijnaldum, Henderson, Can to be honest. Smacks of the Arsenal mentality, demands a lot for little to no work.

Cancelo, Chamberlain and Drinkwater sound promising. Interesting to hear Perreira talking to Juventus, that might free up Sandro.

Ignoring the fact he put in the best cross all match and got fouled every time he threatened to get free?

This isn't Fifa, and you can no longer just whip a cheque book out willy-nilly. You're looking at £90m+ for Lemar, £50m for Cavani/ £80m+ for Belotti, £65m+ for Sandro, £30m+ for Florenzi and £45m+ for Draxler. The sales you suggest will make £100m maximum. A net spend of £200m+ will not happen! And let's actually give Zappacosta a few chances before axing him hmm?

Fair enough- no review for poor Eduardo? I'm told he was great company on the bench!

{Ed001's Note - I only reviewed people who made at least one appearance. Anyway, I am told he was a fidget so a bit annoying to sit next to..... ;-)

Good summary but a little harsh on Cesc and Pedro! Hit the nail on the head RE: Matic though.

{Ed001's Note - I had to find things to pick on mate, you won the league, any criticism is harsh really but it would be boring if I just pointed out how well everyone did.}

At least no more Naby Keita- Sorry Nobby Kaita- right?
