Golovin is an attacking midfielder of which there are literally dozens of players of a similar mold. I would suspect AC is looking at a wing back role.
In my opinion there are better players around but perhaps more expensive.

Unless we can get some firepower we will have more games like this. Possession is one thing but you have to convert it into goals. Too many weaknesses at present to do anything but battle for the elusive fourth spot.

Hazard has been poor for a while. At this rate Real Madrid will not fork out the money required for him. It just shows as a team we are too reliant on him to perform. If he doesn't perform we struggle.
It will take time for Sarri to sort Chelsea out mate. For us to play his way, we need 2 new full backs, it's clear both azpi and Alonso don't have the pace, technique and skill to play his way. We need a striker big time. We need to offload Willian as a priority too.

However, I don't get the hype Liverpool are getting at the moment. They won absolutely 'ZERO' for years mate. They finished 4th last year.
They have added Alison, Keita and Fabinho which is good and an improvement to their squad but of course we will find out soon.
However, I need to see a lot more than a win against West Ham to be convinced. I would like to see the new signings deliver constantly before I put them in the bracket of Man City. Let's see how they break down defensive teams, let's see what happens when Salah, Keita, Mane etc all leave for the African Cup Of Nations mid year. I will not jump on the media bandwagon.
This is a fact, we may not be amongst the favourites to win the title this year because we in transition, however we have players that have the 'knack to win title's. In the last 4 years, we have won 2 leagues, League cup and the FA Cup. Despite all of this we are favourites to finish 5th this year.

Whilst I do think Liverpool will have a very good season and could do some damage to us, I believe we could also be very threatening to them offensively when we meet. Besides, I'm happy with everyone writing us off. I'd rather everyone have low expectations of us and go a bit under the radar whilst picking up the points. Defence needs sorting but I will say more game time will improve the unit.
Christensen will get his chance soon, Luiz had a poor game today and I think his leadership skills is what is saving his blushes at the moment. However, he will fight back like he always does.
Personally, the first 35 mins of the first half and the full 2nd half is what Sarri wants, non stop possession. The more you have the ball the less chance the opposition have to score goals. We were simply scintillating barring that mad 10 mins from 35-45mins.
Jorginho is absolutely class, Kovacic looks his equivalent and can make crunching tackles and Kante is Kante. The trio together could be the best in the league with more time, technically so good on the ball.
A lot of people here have written off Alvaro Morata, however I have stuck by the lad and I still will. I will not say his turned the corner yet but he was good today and his goal was superb. We wanted him to score with his feet and boy did he do that today. Support the lad through thick and thin, with confidence he will be brilliant.
