Came on here to praise Chelsea for what was a superb game last night, but having just read the comments on this page from today I think I should be praising the fans. How incredibly gracious in "defeat" you have all shown to be on here.
So refreshing to read being a Liverpool fan; I swear half our fanbase can't be happy. Just nice to see a fanbase picking up the positivity, which there was an abundance of from last night.
Anyway, good job to the players, staff and fans of Chelsea, you've done yourselves proud. I for one am terrified of what you can do next season.

Nice post, Cotsi, thank you :) I for one was pretty p. ed after the 1st leg, and my only hope was that they would come out yesterday and give their all. They did just that, and while qualification was actually on the cards, the individual mistakes over both matches meant that Madrid probably deserved to go through.
I'm just happy the players put in a performance to be proud of. They could leave Madrid with heads held high. Hopefully we can go again next season (need to secure top 4 first) .
Good luck in the title race. It's a fun one to watch for neutrals.

Thank you Cotsi. Imo, Chelsea need a player or two to catch Liverpool and City. I like Chelsea better when they play with intent and be expansive and most importantly trust in themselves that they will be rewarded. That is what I see when I watch city or Liverpool.

Hey Ed's, tried the search function but couldn't find anything. Has there been any interest in Terry? I am hearing Bournemouth might be going for him?
