Well, it's been a while since I've watched Chelsea play and thought this was going to be one of the harder fixtures of our run it, so I was a little caught off guard and found myself laughing throughout much of the first half!
I have no idea how its happened, but it's quite an impressive mess. Looked like a rag tag team of B players thrown together for the first time, with all the spirit of those long ago relegated. Auba upfront again, and some of you were actually calling for it.
Bet you're all pretty relieved that you're sat on 39 points and not a single one less.

You are having a good Premiership season and played some attractive football.
We have been spoilt over the last few seasons, winning Premierships, Champions Leagues and World Club championship.
I guess we will have to suffer as you lot have for a while. What’s it like?

Yet we won second half doesn’t matter anyway you aren’t great you were calling for the managers head not so long ago so your supporters are just as fickle and what have you won yet? Finish 2nd may as well be 14th won the same nothing zero nil pwar however you want to put it.

I’ve not spoken to an Arsenal fan in years, suddenly they’ve come out of the woodwork for a year. We might be in quite a mess at the moment, but how does it feel when you still can’t match us with pulling power for players? You were top of the league and still couldn’t convince someone to join once we entered the mix.

Tom, you are right we will have to suffer but hopefully not as much as this season. Football and sport generally serves as an allegory for life. Many of us will have had periods when things are going well and you start worrying about how long it will last. I remember when we won the PL for the second time in 2006 and having a “is this it? ” reflection through a beery haze. Just like the boxer who as won the world title and made a few successful defences but deep down he knows there are younger and hungrier fighters waiting in the wings
to topple him. Fortunately unlike boxing football clubs can comeback and regain former glories. To some extent the journey back to the top is just as enjoyable the actual winning of trophies.
As for Arsenal if the don’t win the title this season it will be meaningless as next season Man U, Liverpool and hopefully we will be much more competitive.

Jimbo, being an ancient Chelsea supporter, I have like lots of other fans done a fair share of suffering but over the last twenty years we have become used to success.
Maybe being used to success make it’s harder to except failure.
Anyway you are correct, our jouoback to the top with be a fun ride. I hope my patience holds out.

{Ed014's Note - sadly mate, without the realisation as to how much a bunch of crooks they really are and if he owned Arsenal I’d still want him sanctioned to the hilt and nowhere near our club, I wouldn’t be chanting the guys name either, no matter what he’d done for us.

Ed0014 you keep mentioning Russia and there role in this mess but I'm yet to see you blast NATO's and the US role in this? I've seen posters saying Russia is starting WW3 and you stating they're threatening nuclear war, are you even aware that the Ukrainian president stated that they were considering their stance on Nuclear armament before Puțin even said anything?
Are you aware that the Ukrainian government have been persecuting and killing eastern Ukrainians since 2014, do you not think the US enabling regime change in 2014 and meddling in Ukraine since then has had any knock on effect to what's happened?
Do you think it's right for Western nations to arm a superpowers neighbour and touting NATO membership that would without a doubt threaten Russia security. I'm not saying that violence is the way forward but the west has had its hand in this and provoked this for their own geopolitical, economic, energy and security gain.
As people we should be blasting all of these nutjobs for bringing us to the brink of a world war and having us in another cold war with Russia that results in pain, suffering and has an disastrous economic effect on ordinary citizens of the world. We should stand up and topple all these idiots including Putin, Biden and all the European leaders singing from this sick hymnsheet.
Get rid of the IMF, the UN and WHO and lock up the corrupt puppet masters in the background.

I'm aware of your last point but Putin does not want war. They were dropping in insane amounts of weaponry and troops training the Ukrainians on how to use them. It was simply a reactionary invasion.
If a load of countries were doing the same in Mexico do you not think the US would do the same. Sure remember Cuba, Colombia etc. Only one side wants war, the country that has waged more wars and conflicts than any other, the Americans.

Ed and Dadubliner are right about these international organisations they are all influenced by self-interest and corruption e. g China and the WHO, I’m no admirer of Trump but he was right to pull out of the WHO. What’s the point of the UN when Russia and China can veto any motion or mandate. Don’t get me started on FIFA and UEFA.

All the weapons were being dropped before the Russians invaded mate. Google it, the media were reporting on it freely. The Russian army destroyed most of the weaponry delivered before the Ukrainians got a chance to deploy it, that happened in the firsts two days. You'd know this if you weren't gathering your facts simply from one side.
All you're hearing and seeing is that the Russians are targeting civilians which is untrue. Have a look at the civilians death count since 2014 in Eastern Ukraine at the hands of the Ukrainian military and the person paramilitaries, did you ever see hear or see any of that on the news.
You're a smart dude, judging by how you speak, do a bit of research. Check out vice documentaries from 2014-2015 check out human right watch report on Donbass conflict from 2014-2015 to give you context on the conflict.
Check out why the Ukrainians never stuck to the agreement put in place to safeguard eastern Ukraine, check out the banning of the Russian language in schools and so on. Everyone making the Ukrainians of being the victim here, far from it.

That aside you’re saying the Americans want the war and not the Russians, that in fact the west are happy for nuclear war to break out because they do because once that happens all in the world will be good.

There was a ceasefire and there's been ongoing negotiations but again it's not touted in western media because once again you just see and hear sensationalist headlines and videos.
