Really hope we go for Kroos. I believe he is the missing link in the midfield.

1.) There is no need to buy more players especially midfielders what's the point spending another 30-40 million odd when we already have young players which we bought such as van ginkel? he could be integrated alongside matic and we also got ramires there and don't forget our young talent chalobah. no need to keep buying and buying
2.) Yes, we will beat the likes of Barca, PSG, Real and Bayern with Ramires, Van Ginkel and Chalobah lol ha. Their 5th midfielders are better or at least on par with our best - Matic. We need Kroos. Or Pjanic. Or Moutinho. Or Gundogan. Or TWO of them. We need WORLD CLASS QUALITY in deep midfield. DO YOU UNDERSTAND?
3.) Fair point that Matic may not start for those teams (personally I think he would for two of them depending on the game) it's your opinion, I won't mock you.
But to say he's akin to their fifth choice is just absurd.
4.) Alright mate calm down I obviously understand we need quality but what i'm saying is why can't we bloody MAKE quality from our young players for once? players like van ginkel CAN become great. have some patience! we should be doing the same for lukaku and make him be our main man instead of once again splashing 40 million on a striker. get piazon back and integrate him into the team. and don't forget zouma who can potentially be world class i'm really hoping they don't just loan him out. these youngsters need to be blooded in with the first team next season the worst that can happen is they flop and they don't play but we have back up anyway. but if it does work, it will do absolute wonders for the club!
so that's why i'm saying, cut the spending, and introduce the young guns for once!
5.) Bayern: Schweini, Thiago, Lahm, Martinez, Kroos ; PSG: Motta, Verrati, Matuidi, Cabaye, Rabiot ; Real: Illara, Modric, Alonso, Khedira; You were saying?
6.) Only bayern's midfield is better than ours. apart from Verrati our midfield is much better than PSG's seriously Cabaye. Illara is seriously overrated as is Khedira(who is injured), Alonso has started to slow down(also, Dortmund completely outclassed Alonso last season) but Modric is an amazing talent

i don't think you even understood my point have you? i'm talking about us integrating the potentially good young players into our team what's this got to do with comparing which team has the better midfield?

Well, haven't seen us play that badly in a long time. Let's hope it was just a one off.
Give them all a rest on Sunday for the fa cup and come back with a bang.
Still top of the table despite having harder fixtures than City, stay positive!

I think today showed why we need another world class winger to go with hazard and oscar.
Willian is very neat and tidy but it seemed only Hazard or Cesc were capable of winning the match for us.
His problem is just he is too similar to hazard or Oscar in that he wants to come inside, but just doesn't have the necessary creativity.
We either need an upgrade on Willian or preferably an out in out winger.

Sell Schurrle to Dortmund as part of the Reus deal to us. Willian on the bench he'd be a great squad player.
2.) Couldn't believe Jose took off our capable scoring winger and replaced him with a winger that can't score.
3.) I agree we need a winger - all of our play comes down the left which makes it easier to defend against us. I like Willian but he doesn't play wide right - Schurrle is just not good enough - Reus prefers to play through the middle. I would approach the Arse and try to buy Oxlade-Chamberlain.

4.) Haha Mrs Costa, I've also thought about Oxlade. Think he's a good player, very versatile as well. But Ed just confirmed what I suspected, no chance in heaven of that happening.

Liverpool fans complaining about our tactics seem to be ignoring the fact we comfortably beat them on their own patch with a mainly second string side
Only azpilicueta, ivanovic and matic would get in the best chelsea team at the moment, and possibly schurrle.
1.) Ignore everyone. We did the job. Liverpool are a bunch of fairies. Next year with CL games they will finish 5th.
2.) Sure, Chelsea provided a great chance for Citeh to win another title. If Chelsea can't get it I would prefer Liverpool as champions that Man.City.
3.) City over Liverpool any day of the year, Liverpool fans are the worst, we wouldn't hear the last of it
4.) No way-except maybe Tottenham winning the league (like that'll ever happen!) ANYONE but the scousers!
I don't think united will sign both. Don't see how they can afford it and apparently di Maria wants champions league.

I still have faith in jose, but feel his sacking is inevitable soon. In an ideal world I would like Hiddink until the end of the season and then Pep to take over. Don't know how realistic that is though.

Hazards penalty was due to a lack of confidence. Didn't back himself with his usual technique so tried to put more power behind it.

I didn't get to see the game but I presume it was so we could play 3 at the back with ivanovic moving to Centre.
Judging from what people on here are saying Kennedy seems to have gone left back, so I'm completely lost

I'd have to go with Bale. Proven in the premier league and despite a rocky season still undeniably world class.
Plus, it would annoy spurs:)
