Wonder if we scored in any of those games.
18 Apr 2026 22:11:59
At least we only conceded 1 goal. Normally it's 3. LR is obviously improving matters, and the SD's/owners can sleep happier tonight.
18 Apr 2026 22:42:39
The SDs will, I am sure, Bill, have had their contracts extended after the CWC win. I think that win, as we predicted, probably came at some cost to us this season in the EPL.
18 Apr 2026 21:55:36
Look like a team with limited ideas with a manager who looks completely shell shocked.
Garnacho had a complete shocker and I cannot believe Gusto is a better player than Josh.
Of course we were the better team but if you don’t score you can’t win.

Tom we could get rid of this entire squad atm and not miss a single player the team has stooped to a new low, the owners have ruined the club, the manager looks lost, the players look lost, the fans are hating life watching this dross and absoloute rubbish players every week garnacho and gittens for 110 million sums up the owners embarrassing useless persons
18 Apr 2026 22:41:15
We were the better team, Tom? Remind me again, who won the game?
18 Apr 2026 22:58:54
Poch,
Who brought in the dross?
18 Apr 2026 23:01:23
Bill, I was very much alone when I said some time ago that I prefer results over performance any day of the week. I still feel the same.
My view just confirms that; being the better team means nothing if you can't score and win a game.
18 Apr 2026 23:05:55
The owners, the SDs, the manager, and the players. We have no idea if we replace them all that things will get better, and, yes, things can get worse. As it has for other clubs.
18 Apr 2026 23:16:57
Tom
We can't get rid of the owners for 7 horrible years, however, we should get rid of the SDs, who, let's face it, were responsible for bringing Garnach to the club when us fans thought it was a stupid idea and a waste of money.
18 Apr 2026 23:37:09
Bill, us fans also think changing owners, SDs, managers and players will bring about success!!
One min they want Poch sacked, then Potter, then Maresca, and now LR.
I agree this can't go on, but I also don't believe that change guarantees success.
18 Apr 2026 23:50:28
But you have to at least try, Tom.
19 Apr 2026 06:36:04
Bill, we have been trying. Maybe it's because they keep trying is actually the problem.
Out of the last six managers, I have wanted only one. So, I have never really been happy. I know virtually nothing about the SDs other than, from the outside, there doesn't appear to be a singular person in charge.
I never wanted these owners, but then I didn't want any of the interested consortiums, but it appeared we were between a rock and a hard place with that deal.
18 Apr 2026 21:55:35
Positives - Hato, Enzo, Cucu
Negatives - Rosiener tactics, Rosiener subs, Rosiener philosophy.
I know it won't change anything but I want to see him sacked.

Maresca had said he was a joke in training, so maybe he's reverted to the same attitude. It doesn't make a lot of sense, as Delap is useless and our strikers don't typically get any service at all, so they need to create their own chances. Guiu always seemed to run himself into the ground and chase every ball.
Estevao is a tough one, but to be honest, the less the youth play under Liam, the better, as it's very clear the players don't get coached on how to open space and create opportunities.
18 Apr 2026 22:04:37
I didn't Delap was our worst performer tonight, that dubious honour surely went to Garnacho.
18 Apr 2026 20:54:57
Watching at home and just about to get stuck into some large JD’s.
We have missed a string of easy chances, Garnacho lets a player drift by him and we are 1-0 down yet again.
Far too passive with and without ball.
The natives are understandably not happy. Fingers crossed we come out with a more aggressive second half performance!

Drink the bottle. It's f****** laughable. This club don't know how long we have to keep suffering with the same s***.
18 Apr 2026 21:58:23
I can't remember how long the gap was between winning our second title? Oh yes, it was fifty years. That's how long some of us had to put up with s***.
18 Apr 2026 23:10:13
Will be longer with this shower at the elm.
18 Apr 2026 23:38:29
Maybe. It then becomes a test for supporters.
19 Apr 2026 15:01:01
The tests are already happening, Tom. They're already displaying it.
19 Apr 2026 16:19:32
My point is, supporters have historically gone to games and supported the club through tough times that include relegation and almost going bust. That's what, in my opinion, fans do. It's very easy to support a team when it's doing well.
18 Apr 2026 20:50:38
Delap is the worse forward I’ve seen at Stamford Bridge. The man’s useless. I hate the board. I hate Liam. He’s the worse manager I’ve seen. The club has been destroyed. Look at the players we have, it’s f****** embarrassing.

Delap was by no means the worst player in Chelsea blue tonight, and I have seen a lot worse CF's playing for us.
18 Apr 2026 22:04:50
Nib, totally right, mate. We had posters and fans on here slating Maresca and calling for him to be sacked. He's been a total disaster since he left. Unbelievable.
18 Apr 2026 22:38:08
Greenaway, it was Poch, it was Potter, it was Maresca and now it's LR.
I have lost count the amount of times a poster has said "it can't get worse," it can.
18 Apr 2026 20:46:30
Well the positive is the goal came just before the half, so as we have all seen, Liam will be able to get the boys fired up for the second half .

Fired up, really!!! Why do they need firing up? They're f***ing rubbish, the lot.
18 Apr 2026 22:01:37
Tongue in check, Nib.
It's obvious the lads don't listen to a word that comes out of this numptie's mouth. I don't know why I bother waking up.
18 Apr 2026 22:02:03
Because we were passive in the first half and only slightly more aggressive in the second half.
18 Apr 2026 20:26:17
Strange to think that just by waking up at 3am, I put in more effort than this lot who get paid big money for the privilege!
This season has been a disgrace for the effort we've seen on far too many occasions.

I'm sorry I should mentioned in my post match post, Estavao had a game to forget and should have been hooked earlier.

I agree, Tom, and had said as much about him in my post yesterday. The refereeing was inconsistent though, with an obvious shirt pull on Palmer, while Estevao got petulant after being roughed up a bit by City players, then throwing the ball away.
Things may have gone better for us if Cucu had not been fractionally offside and we had gone one up.
Confidence and energy levels higher, perhaps. As it is, we were misplacing lots of passes, and not taking the chances that came our way, and we had 4 shots on goal before City got one on our goal.
