All the rumours of exiting players is loan with option to buy. sell or have an obligation to buy. We need these players off the books, not to go away to clubs that won't buy or have the finances to next summer.

{Ed002's Note - That is proving to be a problem as clubs don't have the money to buy or to commit to buy due to income lost due to the pandemic. Everyone continues to try very hard to place the remaining players - but large numbers have already gone - albeit nobody here mentions them.}

Tough time for clubs, Chelsea I imagine in no manes land, we want wages of books and space in squad but other teams cannot spend, will we try get certain players to sign new deals so we keep the sell on value ed.

{Ed002's Note - PLayers who were to be sold are now having to be loaned which is not ideal. A few players are being asked to sign new contracts and a decision may be made to release one or two.}

ed can I ask a question from the past, I remember seeing sky sports saying chelsea had an official bid for Kaka, £70 odd million or wheat ever it was, I remember the excitement then nothing and then he went to Madrid, has there been any world class players we’ve been close to signing that never happened which were never really reported on, I remember rumours of Neymar when he was really young and apparently Pepe wanting him not to join and Robinho close on deadline day. To the point he mentioned us in his Man City press conference.

To you knowledge Ed, is the circa £10m loan fee that Villa have paid for Ross Barkley somewhat accurate? Seems like a huge amount and a good deal for us if true.

Gabi Batistuta is one of my all time legends in the game. The guy was an absolute beast at Fiorentina and then Roma. Till today I'll say there are rarely any players of that quality around. Italian football back then was the best league in the world.
