The media seems to have this love affair with the two Manchester clubs, leaving us to just go quietly about our business while picking up the points.
Kind of has a resemblance to last season in way, and we were far worse off at this stage of the season exactly a year ago. Now obviously City and United are both stronger this year and they will be much closer to us this season. But I'm just starting to get the feeling that Conte is going to pull it off again and prove all the pundits who are writing off our chances of winning the league.
Hazard is finally back, Morata is firing, Christensen looks quality at the back and finally the Costa situation is behind us.
Going to be a tough week ahead but if we can keep our current unbeaten run going (since the Burnley game), things will be looking very good as we head into October. KTBFFH.

I like it too. Personally I don't think we'll win the league I think City will but it nice as it seems there's not any pressure on us. I still think we just lack that world class player to replace Hazard if he's injured or need a rest. Someone like Sanchez or Dybala next to Morata and Hazard and we've got ourselves one hell of a team boys.

Agreed loco, Pedro would be a very good back up player. I know it's impossible but imagine us getting Dybala or Isco.

I said last week when Luiz was sent off that Christensen would replace him. Conte trusts him, that is obvious. He will give the young players a chance but only if that trust in their ability is there. He sees them in training. The same with young Musunda as well. I know a lot on here rate Ake but Don Conte was not convinced hence he was sold. The guy is ruthless and that was also demonstrated Today in leaving Cahill out. We are in very good shape and the squad is stronger than last Season. Looking forward to A Madrid and City next week.

Unsung and not recognised just how good he was again today, rudiger too, Cahill came on and looked as thou it was matter of time before he was going to give a pen away. And rudigers long balls and passing are superb,

Next to JT Cahill was immense. JT gonr Cahill seems lost. He does have good experience so what's going on? Love the shape of our team and we look young and refreshed. We need to stay that way and keep the pressure up on the Manchester clubs. going to be exciting.

Azpi is the Spanish Philip Lahm IMO and you can't receive higher praise than that what a world class player he is the lad can play anywhere and he's going to make a fantastic captain for us.

Morata took his chances well. Could have been 5 for him today. Prior to the introduction of fabregas and hazard I felt Morata was starved of any supplies.
But let's be honest, the game was tough. It was in the balance until fabregas and hazard had come on and then it changed.
Usually not a critic on here but Willian had a shocker today. His making it very easy for Conte. I feel his time on the bench is around the corner.

Yes Willian's days are numbered. You can watch little hints Conte leaves over time. You will see that he has already made his mind what players he wants.

No, he's surprised a few. What a pleasure to have a hat trick scorer without all the 'add on' bits we got with Costa. That should give him a massive boost as I thought he was trying so hard to impress his first touch was deserting him at times in previous games. Two good feet and heading ability, what more can you ask for?

ELI I don't think he surprised Antonio or the club, that's why they paid £58m. I think even prior to today he's done well. You wait till Eden is up to speed and things start to click. Haven't seen game but hope Christianson was good.
Roll on next week then we can gauge where we are.
Athletico then city. Tough week.

True Andrew, but I must be honest surprised at how quickly he's settled he looks a rather complete striker a little work on his physical side of the game and we could have the next Van nisteroy 😁, but honestly im glad he's showing his great potential. Also Christensen and Rudiger were immense as well as Azpi of course.

love these previews mate, why aren't you on in the predictions?
This site is really one of the best out, I am in no way knocking but the layout is maybe something holding the site back from being extremely popular? I am a phone user so im unsure if it's different on computer but the layout while easy, isn't the most aethestically pleasing!
Again not knocking, just my opinion but this site is great and I hope it brings some income to you eds who do get paid, and for the voluntary eds like 02, you are all extremely appreciated despite us all having clashes ect

That is fair!
And of course, it is very easy to use, and has improved over the last 5 years I do remember when all the site links were posted at the top, now there is a drop down which is easier.
