Any update on Barkely RLC or Drinkwater . can we expect any departures here?

Kepa Arrizabalaga (G) no decision yet but Chelsea has a list of possible replacements that they are looking at – right now don’t expect him to leave
Jamal Blackman (G) now 26 and wants to be playing will be likely made available after a loan to Bristol Rovers
Willy Caballero (G) out of contract in the summer but will be offered a one year deal.
Tariq Lamptey (RB) gone to Brighton after turning down offers from Lille and PSG
Marcos Alonso (LB) will likely move in the summer
Baba Rahman (LB) will be made available
Davide Zappacosta (LWB) will be available if fully fit
Juan Castillo (LB) Ajax will likely take up their option to buy
Jake Clarke-Salter (CB) club to discuss his future with him - interest remains from Germany and I suspect Championship sides
Marc Guehi (CB) loan to Swansea
Josh Grant (CB/ FB) will move to Plymouth
Matt Miazga (CB) will be made available – recovery from injury will need to be checked first
Michael Hector (CB) joined Fulham
N'Golo Kante (DM/ CM) there will be interest but could be priced out of a move

Tiemoue Bakayoko (DM/ CM) Monaco may take up their option to buy - else available for sale
Mario Pasalic (CM) will join Atalanta in the summer
Danny Drinkwater (CM) Chelsea want him moved on and a loan to Aston Villa gives a short term solution – but he will be gone in the summer
Tariq Uwakwe (CM) Should have got a January loan and the be assessed in the summer – but a year long loan may help him the – Hull are very keen
Danilo Pantic (CM) Fehervar wanted to take up their option and then sell him on – but he returned to Chelsea – expect a sale in the summer
George McEachran (CM) HG status will be secured with 6 more months in England - so a loan to SC Cambuur until the summer
Conor Gallagher (CM) loan to Swansea
Kenedy (LM/ LW/ LB) Getafe will take up their option in all probability and may sell him on
Marco van Ginkel (CM/ AM) Chelsea would like to keep him but a new contract and a slightly complex deal with PSV might be possible
Lewis Baker (CM) FD will not take up their option and Chelsea will look to get what they can for him.
Ross Barkley (CM/ AM) has had his head down for a couple of years but has been playing up lately - Chelsea will look to move him on with RLC near fitness (although he may never be able to play a full match or consecutive full matches)
Nathan (LW/ AM) contract extension and another year at Atletico Mineiro
Izzy Brown (AM/ F) not happening for him - will be available
Victor Moses (RW) available in the summer after a loan to Fenebace and Inter. Inter have an option to buy him.
Pedro (RW)
Willian (RW/ LW) Chelsea want him to stay and Willian wants to stay - the offer is a one year deal and then a discussion next year against the desired 2 year deal.
Lucas Piazon (LW) wants to stay in England - probably will be available - no option for Rio Ave
Michy Batshuayi (S) Chelsea have no interest in letting him go in January and will need to talk to him about his future - there is support to keep him at the club
Charley Musonda (S) will likely need to drop down a level or two - available
Ike Ugbo (F) expect another loan
Olivier Giroud (S) has a number of offers but will move in the summer when his contract runs out – Inter want OG or Mertens.

Giroud going to Juve on a 2 year deal. Chelsea wants 5M€.
Giroud is a true pro but as we have seen from last season, he wasn't in Lampard's plan until late in the season. He doesn't suit how Lamps wants to play so that's why we are open to let him go in my opinion. Apparently Giroud looks for more regular football as well.
I think we won't replace him, Lamps will use Anjorin in his place.

I’m not so sure he will leave us. He seems to have a good relationship with Lamps and I think he is probably very settled in London.

He will, I’m sure get a reasonable amount of game time in what is going to be a very strange season.

Anyway, if he does go, he owes us nothing. Been a very good player for our club.

I think we'll need him. The season could become very disjointed in terms of CV, more regular fixtures and multiple competitions.

Usually teams like to work with small squads of 22ish players. I think this season teams will have slightly larger squads of 26.

Also think he offers something different and special to other options, not least in his link up and hold up play as well as so much experience. Completely different to what Timo W brings as a striker (and often coming in from out wide) plus Tammy still learning imho.

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea met with Juventus about another matter about 10 days ago but I do not believe that OG was discussed. Whilst he has been considered as one possible Higuain alternative he is certainly not first choice and I am not aware of any agreement to move.}
