We get rid of Malouda & kalou (wanted Mikel out too). Then you have Mikel playing with Eto'o. Lukaku must look at Eto & think you replaced me with that useless mouthy person. Got it wrong big time Jose, hope you have learned a big lesson today.

Mikel & Eto'o you couldn't make it up. Love you Jose, but that is a shocking decision.

If we fans didn't support Chelsea & we were in Lukaku shoes, would you want to persist with a team, that keeps showing you the door, even though your a better striker than any of the current crop?
As a club we have treated this young man, with no respect at all.

JNS

1.) Disagree completely, he is an amazing young striker, although does he really pose the threat that other Champions league winnings sides have in there striker role? No. Regardless of our other options, he is not quite mature and experienced enough to see through 30-50 highly competitive games in 1 season. He has not been shown the door, in fact we have been educated enough to let him get game time on loan, rather than sit on the bench waiting for 2-3 years wasting his potential. Yes he had a great pre-season, but against what, if any competition? I'am very excited for his future at Chelsea, and feel we have done our up most to progress his career with out pushing him into an early football grave. i.e Owen, Robinho, Jeffers, Adu etc etc.

2.) Lukaku is not a mature striker. He maybe the most talented of the three but he is the least experienced. And experience is what makes you win top games. For me the bottleneck is Torres which he seems to prevent anybody decent coming in because of his wages. We need to offload him next summer for certain so that a striker that will take us to the next level comes in.

3.) Mourinho knows how to get the best out of eto, and he is Torres after witnessing the super cup. So lukaku would have been 3 rd choice. Jose has been clever lukaku will play a second season in the Bpl gaining a whole seasons experience. So why chelsea fans are moaning is beyond me.

4.) Thats now 3 years on loan
, not 2. It wouldn't surprise me if he walked away from Chelsea next year.
Lets face it, Torres, Ba & Eto'o are not going to frighten any top team.

5.) Stop being so negative JNS, he won't leave

6.) Remind me JNS - he spent last year on loan, and will be spending this year with Everton.

Where was his third year on loan?

7.) Lukaku is good but is not yet at the level to lead the line at one of the world's top clubs.

Eto may well turn out to be a good 1 year deal, let's hope so.

Ba and Torres will be gone next year.

We put too many eggs in the Rooney basket, this led us to a last minute panic, all be it not as bad as Utd.

8.) He spent his first season at Chelsea on the bench, not on loan. He was clearly unhappy with the situation and was quoted as saying he wasted a year of his career. He is the future of the club but right now it is better for him to go out and further develop as a player than spend a season getting frustrated at Chelsea.

9.) Yeh I knew that Blue25, was trying to make a point to JNS. Would our bench be better experience than Evertons starting XI? Not in my opinion. Lukaku has said himself he wanted another season on loan if he wasn't going to be first choice for us. He has his head screwed on, he is a Chelsea fan, and when the time is right he will lead our line.

Just wondering what people think of our strike force. Letting Lukaku go was a shocking decision & making liversmall & everton stronger for nothing was a stupid mistake, that we seem to make every year. My opinion.
Eto'o, well past it.
Ba, not good enough for our standard.
Torres, still lacks confidence.

JNS

1.) Stop avoiding the issue. Torres lacks everything. His best move would be to go back to Athletico Madrid

Rooney crying about not getting in Man Utds side. He's not good enough for our team either.

JNS

1.) He not crying about getting into the side. he started pretty much every game for united, he's crying about not playing as the main striker and playing second fiddle to RVP. He wants to be the main man and chelsea could give him that.

I thought fergi was the one that started paying silly money for Veron & Rio first, both £30 million. Rooney earns double any Chelsea player. Manchester United started the silly money. let's face it who has the biggest debt in world sport, that right Man Utd.

So Manchester United don't spend money. 30 years of being the biggest spenders in the PL. Then Chelsea & M, city come along & they cry like little baby's. Plastic fan, probably living in Cornwall. Now you don't have red nose cheating with refs, your be crying even more.

Chelsea were in the champion's league when Roman took over, so we were a top team already. We also had players like Zola, R, Guillit, Vialli, Poyet, De Matteo, etc etc. Roman took us to the next level. Some of the person's on here are implying we had no history. Well we don't live on past history, we make history. NOW FOR THE NEXT INSTALLMENT. Good luck the happy one.

Okblue talking rubbish again. Totally agree with blueboy. CM is a massive problem & CF is no better. It's not whining, us older supporters have always spoke our mind & told the truth. We are not delusional like other clubs. If you can't be honest like us older fans, then your probably a plastic.

This is something I brought up a few weeks ago & some of the person's on here, dismissed it. If you look from an individual point of view, you couldn't blame him if he walked away from us. But I hope he doesn't, because he is already the best striker we have on our books, why he was pushed out, we will never know.

Totally agree, that's what I've been saying for some time. We still seem to prefer the old has been's & not the new talent. Very surprised that Jose is either falling for it or putting up with it. Our 2 best players in pre-season were Lukaku & KDB, yet neither are now playing.

I believe that Torres sold the most in his first year with us & lamps as sold the most since. I would have thought that Mata, Terry, Hazard & Oscar are now right up there too.
