Michael Essien potentially off on loan to Olympiakos, likely to mean signing of Fredy Guarin is getting closer. Patrick Bamford is not staying on loan at MK Dons, strong rumour he is off to Derby for remainder of season.

Selling him abroad would be much easier to take. However the speed of the negotiations and Chelsea willing to do the deal now can only mean we are giving ourself time to bring a replacement. Rumours into overdrive Salah, Isco, Diego Costa.

Team really beginning to click now. Juan Mata my favourite player but he doesn't fit this quick dynamic interchanging positions football. With the ball at his feet the guy is a magician, but he lacks the speed and work ethic to be a Mourinho player. Silly reaction when he was taken off, him and schurrle just didn't play well enough. Apart from the disgraceful needless dive by Oscar him and Willian were top class when they came on.
City still favourites due to thier firepower but if we can get Torres or Eto'o consistently scoring we can run them mighty close.
1.) Ok I admit it. I have been a Mata fun all along but now I am seeing what the new Chelsea is all about and he does not fit in this team or philosophy.

Makes very little sense to me, Mata is a class act, yes he doesn't fit the Mourinho system but if he goes it should be abroad no question. Rooney will have only 1 year left on his contract in summer, united are no way certain of champions league football next season. So if Chelsea still want him come summer time we hold most of the cards to be fair. 25mill for a 29yr old or risk loosing him for free in a year? Uniteds problem so don't bail them out by giving them Mata

Agree with pretty much all the original post. Willian gets better everytime I see him. Speed, skills and workrate. Needs to add more final product for sure but becoming a key player no doubt. Off topic but how good is Azpilcueta, the guy is simply awesome
Past his best but still a classy deep lying playmaker. Key player for Madrid under Mourinho so could likely be a option. Manchester United or a return to Liverpool are more likely if I was a betting man
