Wheelycfc take the crap presented on Sky with a pinch of salt and i wouldn't hold my breath just yet.
It's an awkward one, I would love to have PEA, however with PSG lurking around it is best going about the business just the way Man Utd went about their business when they signed Lukaku from under our noses. Tbh.

I'm kind of undecided on PEA. Don't get me wrong he's a very good player. But Im unsure if he would suit our system.

If we're still after Morrata or Bellotti he's ideal, he can play as a 10 or as a attacking wide man.
But he's not a lone man.

I personally think he would suit our system really well. Not only is he technical, he is also really quick and he will be able to interlink with Hazard, Pedro and Willian. Not to forget, on the counter attack we were strong anyway but will be even more better. Personally he is a better fit than Lukaku who I've personally not rated highly.

Only thing I could think of is with his pace teams may sit really deep. Which is when u need a cesc or fit hazard to be difference, Diego would bully us to points,

conthan were probably d best counter attacking team in the league how would a guy like pea not suit us he plays alone up top for dortmund and he's banging 40 goals a season.

Plus PEA has really adapted his game under Tuchel, he's no longer a one trick pony and has become an extremely good goal poacher in addition to a speedster.

Yes magic, but his work rate and pressing isn't the same as Diego. Bellotti would be the obvious replacement, and Morrata would work also (imo)
PEA would be be great, but teams would sit deep if he were our only striker. I'm just saying that he shouldn't be our only option, if be delighted if he came.

The plan for PEA at PSG was for him to mostly play as attacking midfield and cover for cavani.

The problem is that PEA knows that he was/ is not our 1st choice. Even after Lukaku, we went for Higuain. It will make it very difficult to persuade any top striker to come to us now. Players need to be wanted and we will have to be very persuasive to get him to sign for us - can see PEA going to Italy. Ps Ibra for a season? - interesting that Jose is suddenly considering taking him back.

There's no our system anymore. Conte has changed it to attackminded football (thank God) . BVB are playing attackminded football, so why he would not fit.?

We didn't go for Higauin. Cmon, why would we shy away from all these expensive transfers and then suddenly, try to blow 88 million on a guy that can't even keep himself in shape for Serie A.
If we show PEA some love I think he will come. PSG almost had a deal wrapped up then they walked. they're not in the mix anymore.
{Ed018's Note - I'm unaware of any interest in Carrasco from Chelsea. Seems like about the last position we need to worry about strengthening at this point}
