Ed, have we made a bid for Kante? I saw on the WHU page that you said something about a bid for N'Zonzi from Leicester to replace Kante, is he set to leave?
Thanks in advance.

{Ed002's Note - I have explained previously the the club is interested in Kante but I rather suspect he will go elsewhere.}

No problem Ed, thanks.

One player confuses me in the team that is Cahill. He is picked for England, and then I think, please pick Smalling and Stones together, as Cahill is not good enough. Yet he has won a champions league medal and was outstanding. What are people's views on him?

I don't think he's good enough to be starting for us but he's still the best England has to offer. Smalling has improved massively but I feel he's been overrated this season and whilst I think John Stones is a good player and will develop into a great player, I wouldn't want him starting for England in the euros as we can't afford to take risks. Cahill will always give his all as well.

Signing pogba and Kante would certainly sort out our midfield.

Tancredi reckons we're in for Kante. He's been right before!

Under £25 million sounds about right?

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea's serious interest in Kante dates from April 10 so whatever Tancredi is is rather late to the party with this news.}

Ed de visser was at the France game
Was he there for kante?
Or someone else
Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - He goes to many, many games. Don't read anything in to it.}

Tancredi Palmer is an idiot. I remember him putting up posts about Chelsea signing Cavani repeatedly before he moved to PSG. I haven't known him to be right often, safe for the times he reported a deal that everyone already knew was going to go down.

Ed002, I remember someone asked this question a while back and you said more would be known nearer the time, but out of curiousity, how would a Brexit potentially affect the English game?
Thanks in advance.

{Ed002's Note - Nothing has changed. The "time" is a long way off.}

Ed are there teams interested in Willian and would Chelsea be willing to sell
Thanks.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - There has been no approach to Chelsea for Willian. If a player wants to leave and an acceptable offer is made they won't stand in his way.}

Who do you guys prefer?
Koulibaly or Rudiger.

I don't know much about koulibaly but I have seen some of rudiger so I guess I have to go with him. He's younger for one thing which is always a positive thing and centre backs can last a good decade too as he's only 23 and would either b a great servant for the club or probably have some resale value. Those who question his ability on the ball have little to worry about I feel. He is a comfortable dribbler and can pick out a pass too and is comfortable playing out from the back. He is similar to zouma as he is quick; but not as quick as zouma yet he is better with the ball at his feet. I still think both lack the tactical ability of a young JT but their pace can get them out of jail most of the time, however against teams that like to break you down and not hit you on the break like Leicester and jamie vardy, like arsenal and Barcelona may be their weakness but as they are young the y would improve under conte immensely in the tactics department as he uses lots of tactical videos and analysises in training and as they are young if they could learn that Rudiger could be great. He is good in the air not as good as zouma but not far off and has leaped forward in his development a lot this season so who knows how high his ceiling is. Koulibaly I don't know enough to comment but I hope this was useful chelsea fan.

Rudiger every day of the week. Ball playing centre back that gets a game for Germany - what's not to like? Did I mention he's only 23, 6"3 and quick too? I'm kind of shocked Roma are keen to move him on instead of Manolas, as Manolas has come under some criticism for not being physical enough, which isn't what you want in the prem.
Also, Koulibaly is Senegalese so you have to deal with the whole going away for the AFCON which is a pain too.
