Great site ed018, I see the old guard are posting again, anyway, if we don't get stones and get garay, why do I feel underwhelmed? He has been around a while, surely we could go for marquinos or varane?

am I right in saying that if a release clause is met it means extra fees have to be paid? This would explain man u willing to pay 500k under the asking price but not meet the release

My understanding is that Man U were offering more than Chelsea if you include add-ons but, as soon as Chelsea came in, Pedro was never going to move his family to Manchester rather than London.

Ed018, why do we seem to be out of the running for pedro? Ready made for chelsea, not a bad price and if man u get him I think they will win the prem, we are going to be lucky to make 4th, arsenal, man c, man u are playing much better and I think everton or spurs may be fighting us for that 4th if we don't sort out that area.
