ok stones wants off, think your looking at 40-50 million.we are masters at getting top dollar for players.we don't do cheap

25 Aug 2015 18:25:45
Thought you lot said he didn't want to go

Agree6 Disagree3

25 Aug 2015 18:26:47
Doubt it. If he is that determined on getting out, we could bid lower and still get our man. Stones panicked after the Garay reports. £28m probably writing off the rest of the Lukaku debt in the process!

everton decide the price,we can always say no.i would say 50 mill or go away,if david luis was sold for 50 mill, stones is worth 50 mill.think he will be a bench warmer

25 Aug 2015 19:46:06
I think your delusional, he is prob worth 25 at best, I think you Have still got the hump about paying so much for lukaku which is why you are bumping the price.
To be fare he wants to earn more money and win trophies, neither of which will happen with Everton. You know you are going to sell that's why your flashing the cash all of a sudden.

25 Aug 2015 19:59:03
The way Stones played lately and if his transfer will be around 50m€ he won't be a bench warmer for sure.

25 Aug 2015 20:03:51
£50m you're having a laugh buddy. I think £30m plus Moses! You can't say Luiz is the same value as Stones! Two completely different players. What Luiz lacks in quality he makes up for with experience at both club and international level.

Agree2 Disagree1

25 Aug 2015 20:22:59
Everton do indeed decide the price however I believe Chelsea would walk away before they pay 50 million.Where would Eveton be then? Mid table at best with a disgruntled centre back.

Common sense dictates they should take 30 mil and buy a few players and hope to push into the top Ten.

Agree3 Disagree2

25 Aug 2015 20:46:28
I've said around 50m€. If Moses moves other way it would be Moses+30m€ cash maximum since we rate Moses 20m€.And Battersea go and buy couple of players for 30m£(42m€) if you can. FGS we have paid 30m€(22m£) for Abdul Rahman.
Yes, players are overrated but that's the market nowadays.

25 Aug 2015 21:00:55
It's pretty clear that you're already spending the Stones money. I'd wait until you have and then lowball you. Your chairman would either have to accept or face having to actually spend his own money.

Anti-Bot We are shopping at a completely different level to Everton. I would have thought that was. obvious.

Agree2 Disagree1

25 Aug 2015 22:49:47
I thought we payed 17.7m£ for Rahman

26 Aug 2015 00:36:15
Antibot, on one hand you say players are worth what a club is willing to pay, and on the other you say the market is inflated. Which is it mate?

Also, can an Ed confirm he isn't Harry. Really starting to get suspicious and it wouldn't be the first time he has pretended to be a Chelsea fan.

Agree3 Disagree1

{Ed018's Note - I don't believe he is Harry, maybe Pinky}

26 Aug 2015 00:59:02
I know pinky isn't everyones cup of tea, but he did seem slightly more reasonable and coherent than Antibot does. Its possible though.

Hows the podcast coming along Ed018? Looking forward to hearing you take on how we look, in longer than a couple of sentences.

Agree2 Disagree1

{Ed018's Note - maybe some time next week we will try to get one done}

26 Aug 2015 01:05:14
Why is antibot even allowed to post on this page. He doesn't talk sense and I'm sure he just says most of it to annoy people.

Agree2 Disagree1

26 Aug 2015 02:35:34
Will keep an eye out Ed.

I actually give him credit for continuing to post Eden. He generally talks nonsense, or makes things up which he tries to assert as fact, but he is constantly getting shut down, and it does nothing to deter him.

It's the early signs of a mental person, but at least he is consistent in that.

I think its more frustrating when a poster says 'don't shoot me down'. If you have an opinion, stand by it. Be prepared to be shot down. I don't think if anyone is having a dig, they're doing so with any malice attached. They just see things differently or in Antibots case, think you're abit of a div

Agree3 Disagree1

26 Aug 2015 07:53:33
Lol Melbourne you legend! We all welcome opinions mate but antibot, CHN, whoever it is. is rude with other posters & claims to be the Albert Einstein of football & knows everything, it's either he's way or nothing & slams others comments! I concur with what you said about standing by you're opinion but some just say crazy things to get a rise from others & that's wrong

Agree1 Disagree1

26 Aug 2015 11:53:32
Market can be inflated.
No comment on your pathetic wich hunt.
Maybe you enforce your opinion on some other posters but it doesn't work with. I will give you a credit if you are right about something but I won't do it otherwise.

Agree2 Disagree1

26 Aug 2015 15:50:04
Antibot relax mate. You seem like your struggling to contain some anger ;)

I'll make you a deal. I'll also give you some credit if you're right about something, on all the evidence you present, you may ne waiting a while.

I can assure you I'm not forcing my opinion on anyone (not sure how someone would enforce it?). I really don't mind if people disagree. If you haven't noticed I'm more than happy to debate points, I think people may just find me far more logical than yourself.

Chelsea in talks to sign garay according to ssn Italia I think personally he's a very good and very experienced defender and I for 1 will feel hel offer us something he'd certainly be a step up on terry and Cahill the way thev been playing lately

Believable1 Unbelievable5

25 Aug 2015 15:49:28
I don't think he offers anything above Terry & Cahill tbh. as we're seemingly playing a higher-line of defence, his lack of speed would not be a great fit.

Agree7 Disagree1

25 Aug 2015 16:59:11
I hope not as he is solid but slow and that is one thing we do not need. Is this fact or fiction from the media to sell a few copies? Remember Aranguiz to Witsel, we were supposedly in for all of them and very few if any were suitable. I would stick with Terry and any one of Cahill, Zouma and Ivanovic on the assumption he will lose his place in due course to Azi until either Stones or similar arrives as this would be another panic buy.

Agree3 Disagree2

26 Aug 2015 03:04:48
Never really took the pace into consideration to be honest lads I agree do he would t be the ideal solution when u put the pace factor into it he is a good player do . it opens up the chance now to sign stones which I truly hope we do

25 Aug 2015 08:45:08
ive heard the following

Jose reconsidering his stance on RLC who may go out on loan.

cuadrado to juve on loan is done.

marin to trabzonspor is done. £2m

Pogba will be chased until deadline day with Ramires and Oscar both considered a part exchanges.

a late push could be made for subotic or garay apparently.

all the same source so could be bull.

Believable3 Unbelievable4

25 Aug 2015 12:00:21
All seem credible. Though I'd stay away from Subotic and I'm wary of Garay. I haven't seen a lot of him and I'd rather the club try for Laporte.

Ed018 said we'd turn to varane if we couldn't get stones

Agree1 Disagree1

{Ed018's Note - I said that's a possibility since they've had interest in him for 2 years now}

25 Aug 2015 12:45:05
Read some reports that Varane will be unobtainable, so it'd seem believable that the club would target others as they apparently have stopped negotiating for Stones.

Agree1 Disagree1

25 Aug 2015 13:11:47
I wouldn't rule out a deal for pogba or stones which is agreed right now but the move isn't secured until next summer.

Agree1 Disagree4

25 Aug 2015 16:32:56
Stones is agreed?

25 Aug 2015 00:01:01
According to the express which is fairly reliable abrovomich is willing to put in a bid of 72m as a final plunge for pogba. I think there might be some truth in the article as it reported a 55m bid rejected and ed018 did say we had a bid rejected and it doesn't seem like to Wild of an opening bid. Just thought I'd put it out there to see how you all react and see if you think it's believable.
