Ed002, Which chelsea players are out of contract in the summer? And which one's will be renewed? am I right in thinking that hilario, benayoun, malouda, ferreira and turnbull will leave? is there anybody I have missed? thanks ed {Ed002's Note - Why not try the club's page, no oubt the answers are there?}

Me and my brother were having a conversation about which possible tottenham or arsenal players would get in chelsea's team over our current players. We decided on 3 players, bale, wilshere and possibly dembele.
This goes to show really that we have a really strong team on paper, but either aren't performing well enough, lack of decent management, or lacking one or 2 in the key areas.
We also discussed which players we would take to replace our current strikers, and what's worrying is that out of the whole premier league we would only take hernandez, rooney, rvp, aguero, tevez, dzeko and suarez.
Can anyone think of any more players who are better than torres or ba? I struggle to see why chelsea are not fighting for the title with the squad we have.
1.) I'd take Lennon also
2.) Kyle walker also.

3.) Kyle walker, in my opinion is no better than azpilicueta, and lennon ahead of hazard, oscar, bale, mata? don't get me wrong he is a good player, but not in the league of the players above.
4.) Michu, Mierelles, Suarez, Lambert, Sturridge, Berba are all players I'd take well ahead of Torres, with little thought needed
5.) It's tough because on the 50/50s we generally give our guys the benefit of the doubt. For instance Cech and lloris are both on similar levels but we give the edge to Cech. Walker and Cesar are the same way.

8.) Id take bale, even though I can't stand the man, and vertonghen. kyle walker is definitely not as good as azpilicueta he gets caught out of position so much. maybe dembele although he's been quite poor recently. i'd take sandro as well.

Despite the average season we are having, I thought I would share a few positives, which might cheer people up a little.
This season we have seen a change in direction for recruitment, with a new focus on young, talented and relatively unproven players. Which is a huge depart from signing big names. These players will benefit us hugely for the next 10 years and if they do fall down the pecking order, we will at least recoup some money
Another positive is how quickly oscar has developed. I personally thought he would be a fringe player at best this season but aside from mata he has been our most consistent player.
Courtois, de bruyne, lukaku and kalas have had good loan spells, which is also unusual for us!
The future is definitely bright for chelsea and as long as we qualify for champs league I think despite all the cup exits, we can look back on a good transitional season.
1.) Chalobah? Don't forget him he's been bloody brilliant
2.) Needs to prove himself in the premier lge but looks very promising.
3.) Oscar is my favourite Chelsea player at the moment! He is pure class and will only get better!

I watched a stream and in my opinion I would say our best players were hazard, oscar, luiz and ramires.
oscar missed a few but was the only player not afraid to shoot!
moses came on with about 20 mins to go and his decision making was awful!
In reality the game should have been 4 or 5-0. we played very well
