I think we have had a great Xmas period, taking 10 points against some of the best sides in the league. If we can get beyond the 2 manchester games coming up & still be within a few points, we could still take this title. Happy new year to the eds & fellow posters.

I don't think we should panic buy in the transfer window. We can bring in Courtoise, Piazon, Lukaku, Van Arnoholt & Oriel, all who are having fantastic seasons away on loan. We can also promote a player like Ake. We have Van Ginkel & kalas to come back from long term injury & that's without the likes of Wallace & numerous other players with have on loan & are part owners in. The priority is the CF.
1.) At last, someone who sees the bigger picture. Totally agree with a few additions . some players will leave and some positions we do need to buy. I would like to see Shaw at let back with Van Arnholt when Cole goes, Paizon to get into the squad when Lampard goes and a world class stiker / strikers to go with Lukaku. Ba to go next window, Eto at the end of season, Torres??
On a brighter note Happy new Year to all, and to the Eds thanks for all your efforts and long may they continue, and don't piss you off in the coming window
2.) Couldn't agree more with both of you. For me van aanholt is looking seriously good in holland. Romeu played some seriously good football as of late aswell. Piazon is a no brainer also lukaku. If Jose actually trained these youngsters they would be up and coming, but with Chelsea always looking to sign the Torres and shevchenkos I'm afraid they won't get the time here. I wanna see Bertrand at left back instead of cole and dave at right back.

It's funny how Brendan Rogers has caught the same disease as Rafa Benitez, in whining & moaning constantly about decision's. What a person.
