Hey Ed002,

Firstly I want to say Thanks for all of Your input. It goes without saying but this site is so much better with You involved.

I noticed on the European Rumours pages You were asked about Hakim Ziyech and mentioned that a number of Clubs had cooled their interest in part due to baggage.
Is this something Chelsea's Hierarchy are aware of and how big a concern is it?

Verbal agreement with Ajax for Ziyech, €45m fee to be agreed. Personal terms not done yet but likely to be in the next few days. via telegraaf.... wow! That came out of nowhere. Truly hope this doesn't mean no Sancho but this is great bussiness. An experienced attacker who guarantees goals and assists, not to mention a dead ball specialist. Chelsea fans should definitely be excited over this, a left footed forward is something we've needed for a long time. But as i said if it means no Sancho i'll be gutted, he can play as a CAM too so maybe it wont. Guess we'll find out soon enough.

If we get Ziyech I hope we still go for Sancho, two different type of players and can both fit in behind a striker. Ziyech just behind, Sancho and Pulisic either side, with CHO obviously highly involved as well.

Ziyech can also fill in if ever plus we have Mount who can do a job there as well.
Hey Ed002, I hate to bother you but do you think we are still in for Sancho if we get the Ziyech deal over the line?! Thanks a lot.

Gutting and it definitely stings but i understand it. Hope we can get a couple more quality signings with Ziyech. Spending 120m on Ziyech and a couple of other quality players other than all on Sancho makes sense and hopefully we spend it on the right players. Ziyech is a good start. Appreciate the clarification Ed002 (:

Ed do you think we will still go for a winger if not sancho with ziyech coming?

I'm just going by the valuation that's been reported for a while now, if that fee is light years away from his cost then i'm glad we're looking elsewhere. I definitely didn't know the club had big concerns over the deal so since that's the case again i don't blame them.
