Is there any other deal apart from fekir that might happen today? A center back (No idea who but we spent so much time chasing Rugani, I think we might target one) or a striker/ winger maybe. (Martial maybe? ) .

I think kepa is a smart choice as a replacement for TC.
Kovacic might turn out to be a very good player but I think a lot will depend on how sarri can use him. I don't think any manager has been able to bring out his full potential out of him. With him we will have Jorginho, Kante, Bakayoko, Kovacic, RLC, Barkley, farbregas and Drinkwater for the three spots in our midfield. I am sure that Drinkwater will leave and one of Fabregas, Bakayoko or RLC. I would prefer if Fabregas left out of those.
Now to the reports that we might sign fekir. I think he is a Brilliant little player but I am not sure where he will play. Our midfield is already crowded if we sign kovacic. Only way it can happen is if we sign him to play as a striker or if he replaces Willian.
What do you guys think? And ED001 have you seen kepa or kovacic to tell us if they are any good?
{Ed001's Note - I have seen a little of Kepa and he looked very good. I am told he is much better than that though and that I need to watch a lot more of him. As for Kovacic, I have seen a lot of him over the years as we have a poster on the Liverpool site who is obsessed by him. Very good player, but he doesn't get much game time at Madrid, so he has not progressed as he should. He is a bit like Milinkovic-Savic in style of play.}

Thanks, really appreciate the response. Your reply fills me with hope. Today might change our window from being shambolic one to a pretty good one. And if we get a Fekir, A Center back and a left back it will be amazing but We shouldn't get greedy.
{Ed001's Note - you have Sarri anyway, he would have got more out of the same team than Conte did, imo. So you were going forward anyway.}

On the topic of Sari, I think you said when we hired Antonio Conte that he is someone who can steady the ship after mourinho but he is not the person to take us to the next level (A Long long time reader) and I think you said after he has steadied the ship for a while we will need someone else to take us forward. Do you think Sarri can be that person to take us to that elite level? (If you didn't say, my apologies in advance as it was a long time ago)
{Ed001's Note - yes, well remembered mate. It did look after his first season I was wrong about Conte! I do think Sarri is a next level in terms of the football. He is a coach who will coach the players he is given and improve them. He will also play the style of play that gets fans off their seats in excitement.}

ED001 and the other posters, What do you think about Bakayoko as a player. Last year when we signed him there was so much interest in him and he seemed like a coup at that time and perfect partner of Kante in midfield. But Everytime we see him now he looks lost. Is it a confidence thing or is he just not good enough for epl?
{Ed001's Note - confidence. His confidence is absolutely shot. He can make simple passes very well but his head is gone so they are going astray. Sarri is one of the better coaches in the game, he is one who has the ability to help the lad through it, so it may be that he can sort him out.}

Hope you're right, Ed001. I've always been of the opinion that we see odd flashes of the player he could become (some of his upfield surges, etc) but he looks totally shot of confidence. I still have faith, but it's beginning to wear a bit thin!
{Ed001's Note - he might never recover at Chelsea, sometimes players need a fresh start, but I think Sarri is the best bet to help him while he is there.}

EDs any truth to these rumuors or any interest in lewandowski?
{Ed001's Note - only thing I know is that Fekir wants to go to Liverpool, so I doubt Chelsea would show interest in a player that is not keen on joining. As for Lewandowski, he is looking for a payday, but Bayern are not looking to sell, so I doubt Chelsea are going to cough up the kind of money needed to bring him in at the age he is now. If he was not just chasing money, I could see it happening, but not when he is just after a big payday.}

I am just going to guess based on the rumours that the player we have agreed a deal for is GOLOVIN. And the three players we have agreed to let go are Cahill, Drinkwater and Giroud. I think Jorginho has replaced Drinkwater, Rugani will replace Cahill and Higuain will replace Giroud. Golovin being the extra midfielder needed for a 3 man midfield. I think apart from these courtuois will go and I think might be replaced by Donnaruma. Morata will go I think and I would want icardi to be the replacement but I think Batsuhayi might stay with us or an outside chance of Martial. If we get Bailey I think Pedro will leave. I think the club will want to hold onto Willian and Hazard but If they both go we might hazard replaced by asensio and if Willian goes I have no idea who we will target. So we will have Jorginho, Kante, Golovin, RLC (if he doesn't talk his way out of the club), Barkley Bakayoko and Fabregas as the midfielders. I think we might try to sell Fabregas but due to his wages it will be difficult and it might result in someone going on loan.
We will have Rugani, Luiz, Christensen and Rudiger as CBs. Azpi, one of Moses/ zapacosta as RB and Alonso/ Emerson as LB. But In my opinion if an offer comes for Alonso we should grab it with both hands and try and sell both Moses and zapacosta. We can replace them with Aina and da Silva or if we want we can sign Luke Shaw (terrible attitude but I think he is Chelsea fan and sarri has knack of improving players) for LB and Rudiger can be the backup RB (he played there for Roma sometimes) and zouma/ tomori/ kalas can be 4th choice cb
For attack the best case scenario would be hazard, Higuain and Willian with Bailey, morata and Callum Hudson or Charly Musonda.
That is what I think might happen but obviously I am not expert or have any sources who can tell me this so there is good chance everything will happen opposite to this. 😂😂😂😂.

I think what will happen is that thiago might come in to replace kroos and if real sign MILINKOVIC SAVIC then they have effectively upgraded on kovacic on current abilities of players.

last couple of days have surely changed the way our window is shaping out to be. If we can get in Fekir It would be an amazing summer and with him and hazard staying third place should be achievable. Target should be the title but I think it will take us time to perfect sarriball. Liverpool has done some pretty good business, but I think more then missing out on fekir If you guys can sign a CB to partner VVD it would definitely make you the favorites.
