Hi Ed, would Chelsea be interested in Fagrebas?

TrueBlue1985

{Ed002's Note - No.}

Just had a look at the Arsenal Rumours site for some lunchtime entertainment, one of the Ed's on there seems to think we will bring Fagrebas to replace Oscar.

TrueBlue1985

1.) I'd only be happy for Oscar to go if we got massive money, and koke In or rues! We seem to be a selling club this summer bit worrying,

2.) I wouldn't consider us to be a selling club. Last year JM brought in a few players but mostly kept the squad the same. A year on, he's been able to judge the players and has a better idea who does and doesn't fit into his plans. I don't think JM would let anyone leave that wants to keep.
I for one am quite happy that we seem to be selling players and for quite large amounts of money. Of all the players that have left us over the last 5-6 years, they've either left for free or quite small amounts. It's progress that we're able to sell players that don't feature as much for large amounts.

3.) A selling club? We've only sold Luiz who spent most season on the bench.

4.) In 6 months we have sold mata de bruyne Luiz. And are players are heavily linked with moves away just as much as players in, . Like ed has said. Likely to leave. Mikel kakuta Marin Moses Bertrand Ba. Oscar linked away, ivanovic linked away, hazard heavily linked.

5.) Torres likely out too. I know it's a revamp and out with the old but we need to be careful,

6.) All the players that have left were not being used though. Only one I'd be slightly worried for is Oscar as towards the end of season his time was limited. But I still don't think he will be sold

7.) Yes we need to be careful with regards to the extent and how quickly we change things but as far as I'm concerned, the ones that we seem willing to sell, aren't good enough to stay. Apart from Oscar and perhaps Ivanovic (Hazard won't be sold). But both are quite easily replaceable and I trust the club's decision whatever that may be.

Hi Ed, on a scale of Mario Mandzucic to Diego Costa, how close are we to signing Edinson Cavani? Thanks

Hi Ed, are you on Football Manager under the Chelsea staff? Looking to give you a new contract and a payrise if so.

TrueBlue1985

{Ed002's Note - That's a game isn't it?}

1.) It is indeed but the staffing is very accurate. Just wondered if your featured on there alongside Piet De Visser etc.

{Ed002's Note - I know nothing of kids games and am not a member of the staff. For that matter neither is Piet - he works on a consultancy basis and is soon the celebrate his 80th birthday.}

2.) Ed, would you mind me asking what you and the other Eds do for a living and how you know so much about clubs and transfers etc, I've always been curious

{Ed002's Note - All of the Eds do different things for a living.}

HI Ed, is there any chance of Diego Costa moving in this window?

TrueBlue1985

{Ed018's Note - I would think it'll be unlikely}

Then how are we able to announce Fabregas? Surely it would follow the same format?

TrueBlue1985

{Ed002's Note - Fabregas' transfer will not be processed until the transfer window opens.}
