No midfielder in whilst selling Gilmour and loaning Ampadu is appalling.
Will be a battle to get 6th, Jorginho is just not up to it without Kanté covering him.

This window will be a 3/ 10 and £270m bust is we fail spectacularly to bring in a DM / CM

Individually we have bought well but as a team We’re missing the most vital part to our team which will be what’s going to cost us and has cost us in our two losses so far.

£9mill is a complete steal if it is true for gilmour in this day and age

If we do not get another midfielder in this will be a very poor window as we are desperate for another DM and a creative player (fabregas mould )

I understand we signed 2 new youngsters for midfield and maybe they get their chances but to pay 20 mill for player with about 20 less premier appearances is mad.

CDM. Who is this Denis Zaharia loan we have apparently agreed?

{Ed002's Note - Denis Zakaria (DM/CM) Juventus have used him sparingly since he moved in January due to nigling injuries and all parties would be happy to move on after only joining in January for a low fee. Juventus now have their DM target in Paredes joing at some point this summer. Juventus are happy to sell and Spurs enquired about his availability but opted for Bissouma. An enquiry from Newcastle as a Hayden replacement was met with the standard response of "not interested" as sthey struggle to sell their project. Recommended to Chelsea by an ex-player who is doing scouting but their are perhaps three ahead of him on the list. In the final days of the transfer window his name was raised again during discussions over another player. A loan has now been agreed. He is very much a solid DM player.
