According to the Liverpool site we are not that great at the back!

Only the best defensive record in world football since Tommy came in! They’ve beaten Norwich and Burnley and suddenly they’re the best in the world again! Not sure if we’ll win or lose next week but I’m almost certain the title will be ours this season. Pep and Klopp slowly turning into Jose with the constant moaning while Tuchel looks fresh as a daisy and always smiling.

{Ed0666's Note - oh just wait for tuchel to switch. That man does vitriol like you wouldn’t believe. That fresh as a daisy crap Is just a facade 😂

I don’t doubt it’ll happen to Tuchel and aware despite how well he’s done he’ll likely be gone sooner or later (like every manager) but Klopp is already moaning about everything 2 games in. Used to like him but he’s just like Jose now. You still have a great team though but if your fans want to call us out I’m happy to call your team out.

{Ed0666's Note - you’re well within you’re rights to critique whoever mate.

Liverpool fans also seem to think their bench of Shaq, Origi, Minamino is better than ours 😂.

The Liverpool page is always good for a laugh Saim. It actually amazes me how deluded a fan base can actually be. I honestly can’t understand how half the c**p on there makes it past the Ed’s and actually gets posted!

I speak for Liverpool fans when I say that none of us think our bench is better than yours. Nor has that been posted on the Liverpool site.

Unfortunately our club cannot afford to have over £220mil worth of players sat on the bench.

That being said when our team is fully fit our options off the bench are far from awful.

I assume that’s why we all try and have a top class squad they are not always fit.

I haven’t got a clue why or if Liverpool have little money to spend.

Most clubs seem to have to sell players to buy players and that is what our club has done over the last 5/ 6 years. Our nett spend isn’t as huge as some clubs but we are now a well managed club.

I think Chelsea are an excellently run club. Your income from sales, especially from loanees has been impressive and that allows such great expenditure I suspect.

Unfortunately Liverpool do not have sufficient funds to really compete on a transfer front with Chelsea, City and United without some major sales.

As for Lpools squad there has been a decent clear out this summer of unwanted players and as long as we don't have another situation like last season our squad should be good enough.

Eagerly anticipating the game next week however, I think it's safe to say that City, Liverpool and Chelsea are the best teams in the league and will be competing.

Ed0666, would like to know your thoughts on Klopp's comments about spending considering VVD, Alisson, Jota, Thiago, Konate all hardly cost pennies? Salah and Mané also weren't exactly gems picked up for peanuts too.

{Ed0666's Note - I think the issue here is off level playing fields which is no fault of sheikh mansour and Roman. By level playing fields I mean owner expenditure and the ethos behind it. Roman and sheikh Mansour have no qualms about spending their own money on shiny new toys for their club. FSG don’t take money out and don’t put their own money in (saying that I think they may be owed some money they initially lent the club but I’m not so sure eds 002 will know) they will make their money when they sell. I think the one in one out model is annoying also that we have but there’s no doubt we’ve been big spenders but let’s face it chelsea, city and man United can get out the Check book pretty much at will and still stay within FFP regulations .
