Hi Ed002, you mentioned on the European page that "There is someone senior at Chelsea advocating his return to the club which I understand would suit the player - but the club are already making efforts to sign another. " in regards to Hazard.

Was just wondering who the "other" who Chelsea were making the effort for actually is? I would assume perhaps Sancho but obviously that's guesswork on my behalf.

{Ed002's Note - It is unimportant.}

No worries.

I'm not a Chelsea fan but was intrigued about what our rivals were up to.

Blood out of a stone ;)

There was a mention we would possibly try to deal with Dortmund direct rather than through other parties, maybe it is sancho, be exciting if it is,

Ed002, with the wealth of attackers we have . Why would we be looking to get in another. We have many who are not performing and will be hard for TT to keep them happy.

Is it the case that some will leave . if so can you let us know who is?

CHO, HZ, TW, CP n MM.

{Ed002's Note - Someone will leave if someone is added.}

Ed002, is our interest in coman genuine and is he open to join Chelsea.

{Ed002's Note - Kingsley Coman is of interest to Chelsea and his agent is keen for him to consider his options.}

I rather Chelsea sticks with CHO than get Kingsley Coman.

From the Liverpool page, I come in peace. Have been reading a few comments of your views on the game and also what Carragher has said. Whilst you brand him as speaking 'bias trollop' surely you can agree that Chelsea should be focusing resources on improving their defence. With the additions of Werner and Ziyech with Pulisic already at the club surely now would be the best time to sign a staple Centre-Half. Rudiger doesn't really cut it and the defensive frailties were exposed today, with some easy chances for VVD and Salah squandered. A keeper might not be a bad shout either, I'm sure Kepa doesn't instill much confidence into that back line, which would probably help them out.

Our fans, posters and the club I’m sure are aware of all our shortcomings.

I’m also sure because we in a strong financial position the club will be stronger in all areas next season. Without tapping up players we will purchase quality.

As for the bias and verbal nonsense of JC. it’s a criticism of him in general not just last nights game, it’s virtually every game. I find his comments embarrassing but it’s all about opinions.

If Willian didn’t give the ball away like he so often does, and the ref didn’t give a free kick against Kovacic, which obviously wasn’t one. It’s a totally different game.
Willian, Arrizabalaga, Rudiger have to go.

Just as an add on to my reply to the above scouser post.

I was once told by a international footballer that JC is Gerrard’s missing personality!

Chelsea borrowing ideas from Mohammed Bin Salman now are they? Vision 2030 was a Saudi initiative to diversify the country's economy.

Chelsea need some new ideas!

{Ed002's Note - The seven year vision process has been running at Chelsea for more than 10 years.}

It was a definite penno. Red card for myself not convinced as such but from the rules that Sky pulled up at the end of the game you can see why he gave it.

I think Chelsea are an excellently run club. Your income from sales, especially from loanees has been impressive and that allows such great expenditure I suspect.

Unfortunately Liverpool do not have sufficient funds to really compete on a transfer front with Chelsea, City and United without some major sales.

As for Lpools squad there has been a decent clear out this summer of unwanted players and as long as we don't have another situation like last season our squad should be good enough.

Eagerly anticipating the game next week however, I think it's safe to say that City, Liverpool and Chelsea are the best teams in the league and will be competing.

I speak for Liverpool fans when I say that none of us think our bench is better than yours. Nor has that been posted on the Liverpool site.

Unfortunately our club cannot afford to have over £220mil worth of players sat on the bench.

That being said when our team is fully fit our options off the bench are far from awful.

If matching Liverpool is sitting back with 11 men and not creating any chances of your own then maybe I'd agree. Liverpool were working their way into the game and were finding themselves in some good positions. As for the Red card it was blatant. By no means were Liverpool excellent and yet throughout the game they always seemed to be in the driving seat. I agree with WYred in thinking it's rather optimistic hoping that Liverpool will be docked points for tapping up, if it did happen perhaps then I wouldn't rule out Chelsea finishing higher than LFC this season. As for Lampard perhaps he'd do better working on his tactical prowess rather than being unprofessional towards an opposition manager on the touchline; leading to then being forced to make a (rather embarrassing) public apology.
