Anyone else be willing to take perisic in a deal for Emerson or Alonso?

Two footed winger with bags of experience could be good replacement for Pedro and Willian leaving. Any interest Ed?

No chance.

Perisic is 31 years old mate.

Both Emerson (25) and Alonso (29) are more than capable and have a good sell on value.

We have some young wide players who I hope will be given a chance to impress next season. Pedro is on his toes (good luck and thanks) and It’s now looking unlikely Willian will be signing a contract extension.

I would be happy to go with just the three young wide players rather than sign a 32 year old player!

Think we’re fairly well stocked in this positions now with CHO, Pulisic and Ziyech plus Werner, Mount and RLC can play wide. I think we should be looking for a solid centre back and keep searching for a left back. Perisic is a good player but wouldn’t want to stalk our youngsters.

I hear you guys. But in reality I think we’re trying to move away from using players out of position I mean in reality if Pedro and willian leave we have two out and out wingers and neither of them have ever completed a full season. I think Werner plays through the middle every single game unless we’re 2-0 down or something like that anyway and Ziyech and mount should be playing where they are at their best.

It seems a little naive to me to have a squad with just two out and out wingers who are seemingly still fairly brittle young men, I mean can we really justify loosing Willian and Pedro and not replacing them with anyone as you suggest and still expect to improve towards a title challenge by making up the numbers with non-league experienced players who are playing out of position.

I mean if one starting xl player leaves the club you would expect his position to be filled by a new signing or someone stepping up from the bench in which case the bench would be one position light. If TWO players leave who occupy the same position I think you absolutely need to sign a replacement. And even if Havertz is added to the list of versatile midfielders who can play out wide it’s still not addressing the issue directly.

Perisic is one of the best wingers in the world when he turns up, worth noting.

Can’t believe I’m saying this but I would rather keep Willian.

I can't see why the need to sell Emerson is so important to you all to be honest I think he's as good as anyone out there and he's as good as Chilwell imo so why spend millions i
n that position

Kepa

James. Zouma rudiger emerson
Kante kovacic
Ziyech. Rlc/ havertz/ pulisic
Werner

I know havers hast signed but could if rueben can't stay fit

I think this is a very good team
Mount cho tomori christensen jorginho barkley Abraham as subs that's a great squad
I'd be more than happy with that.
