How do you all feel about Garnacho, it seems there may be a deal about to happen?

Not thrilled mate. Supposed dressing-room leak of tactics when not on the teamsheet, briefing on Twitter/ Instagram through his brother etc. Looks a bad apple to me. Footballing-wise, seemed to have a lot of promise a couple of years ago, looked decent when I saw him play, but no game intelligence. Never head up, never a well-timed pass. Blind alleys and wild shots.

Feels kind of like replacing Madueke with a slightly less-good-at-football, much-worse-attitude version.

Then again, United is a hard club to look good at right now. Lots of players seem to be doing better away from the club.

More interestingly, AJH, how do you feel about Garnacho? Any potential there still, or surprised we're interested?

More importantly AJH what do you think of him? I read that Paul Scholes thinks it would be a huge mistake to sell him as he has all the ingredients to be a top player and when Amorim is sacked mid season for being out of his depth the next manager might want to use him? but I know nothing about him myself.

I think most Chelsea fans aren’t to happy, me personally I would be I do think he needs to wynd his neck in a little.
Saying this though I like players that go past people and if he can sort the attitude situation out and put his head down and work hard I think he could be a good team player.

I think I mentioned this in an earlier post but I recently met with up with a group of ST holders who seemed to think that he becomes a good player with no baggage at around £20-30m. I found those comments rather strange.

Virtually all of the Utd fans I have spoken to think he is a talented player with a poor attitude.

I don’t see where he plays, I don’t see any position in the attacking roles where he’d be first or even second choice. Apparently the club have done their due diligence and have no concerns about his attitude, but is he going to be happy as a bench warmer? He’s certainly made some questionable decisions, in how he’s gone about being unsettled at United. But, I suppose, it isn’t reasonable to expect a 21 year old to make perfect decisions, just because they’re a footballer.

J, I don’t see the why we would sign both Simmons and Garnacho.

We may we have to play around 65 games this season. So, I think that all the player will get game time. It’s up to them all to impress the manager and make mae sure they are first choice.

Completely ruins the transfer window for me…just managing to clear the deadwood in the squad and we’re just making similar mistakes all over again… a guy noy good enough for a side that came 15th and couldn't score a goal all season…shocking business.

He splits opinion. He was the next big thing but hasn't really pushed on. He is clearly very talented but seems to be a bad influence, and whilst United have a LOT of issues, players with dodgy attitudes has been a problem.

In the right dressing room, with the right Manager, I think he could be really successful, but when a player has a dodgy attitude, you never can tell.

Thanks AJH. Would you fall more on the 'talented, can make a success if he knuckles down' or the 'not worth the risk' side of things?

AJH, maybe a divorce would benefit both parties. It would appear that your manager and the club have devalued his financial worth along with “his” attitude towards both.

If we do decide to sign him, I would like to think he would have been told about our code of conduct and we now have a manager who appears to be a bit of a disciplinarian.

I like him, I'm gutted he's going, he was the shining light of the youth team and we expected big things. For whatever reason, he hasn't been delivering and the Manager wants him gone.

Look at Rashford. He has been shocking for us, yet Barcelona want him. If the talent is there, there's always a chance the right Manager can draw it out.

United has been a car crash for many years, the Manager is having a clear out so maybe Garnacho will step up elsewhere. Are you sure we can't also interest you in Sancho?

AJH, love the sales pitch. Actually Sancho was ok for us last season.

I also think you need Sterling, Chilly and Disasi.

AJH, no thanks but we will take Anthony for £80 million: we are short of forwards.

Garnacho a hard guy to warm to Ido like players with pace but I am not sure we need him but like always time will tell.

Sancho was absolutely rubbish for us last season a few decent goals otherwise below bang average.
