Ed, do you know what the clubs plans are for Lukaku, seeing as the objective is to build a squad for the future? I can't understand why Ba is preferred! {Ed002's Note - Ba is preferred because Lukaku is out on loan and cannot be picked. I don't understand your point.}

Why was the decision made to loan out Lukaku, opposed to Ba leaving on either a permanent or temporary basis?
I think I speak for the masses that Lukaku, Torres and Eto'o are out best three forwards. {Ed002's Note - To give him what he needs - weekly football and relevant experience.}

Granted, Mata may well be an excellent addition to any attacking side, but you can only agree with JM that he does not fulfil his defensive duties.
The matter of fact is that if he is not willing to adapt his game to the new philosophy, he will most likely want to leave opposed to being left on the bench.
