Ed 002 Do you think there is any chance of signing a player in Jan who would immediately be a first choice and improve out 1st eleven ?
I say that as Cahill/De Bruyne would be unlikely to change the current dynamics of the team very much if at all this season

Can't see either player making that much of a difference. Cahill to me is a steady premier league defender and de bruyne is a promising player who isnt ready for Chelsea. What concerned me is our manager said he reminded him of scifo the old Belgian player. Can't see that resemblance, Hazard maybe but not de bruyne.

Your info regarding Reus fits what I was thinking of as I could see him being good enough to demand a spot in the 1st eleven.
I havent see him play but the articles I have read are very complimentary.How do you rate him? {Ed002's Note - I try not to rate players - it is entirely subjective.}
Reus/Higuain, Hazard/Lavezzi, De Bruyne, Godin/Cahill and Piazon is probably our transfer list in for Jan. {Ed002's Note - Piazon arrived in September and now has clearance to play.}
Ed, does that mean he could in theory, play 2day? {Ed002's Note - Yes but yuou won't see him in the first team for a while.}
