Ed002, are Chelsea interested in Lucas Gourna-Douath and Jonas Hofmann?

{Ed002's Note - (a) Lucas Gourna-Douath (DM) PSG want to take the kiddie back to Paris but he has been advised that he would not get playing time in the B side and may need to settle in the U19s until Bitumazala and, particularly, Ahamada M'Ze. There has actually been a real stink kicked up over the whole thing. RBL also have a declared interest. (b) Not unless Tuchel has changed his mind about him - one of the first things he did at BD was to sell him.}

I presume Giroud will be moving on in the summer so assuming that is the case have the club shown any serious interest in any other strikers to replace him?

{Ed002's Note - If Giroud leaves then there will be a replacement needed but right now the players Chelsea have looked at are heading elsewhere (e.g. Akman) or very difficult to sign (e.g. Haaland). Much also depends how Werner is to be used and progress of the youngsters.}

In that case Ed002 could you see a scenario where Giroud stayed for another 12 months or would he want a longer contract?
Tuchel said recently that Werner is better if he has a point of reference like Tammy or Giroud recently so I guess that means more of a second striker role he is playing currently.

{Ed002's Note - It is possible he will stay another season but Chelsea would not offer a longer contract. He has young children so a move away from England would be disruptive and the views of his wife will be very important.}
