I am Liverpool supporter and I just want to give you a perspective on your manager. We suffered through persisting with Brendan for some time after it was clear that he was not the complete package. We eventually made the change and whilst it is early days we look to have made the perfect appointment in Jurgen Klopp. He fits the character of our club.
In the same way Jose is the right man for you. His record as a coach is right up with the best. It is bonkers to contemplate sacking him. You have a sticky period yes but you work through it. Even if you struggle along and finish outside the top four you persist and stick with Jose because he will sort things out.
In our case we had to make the change and we have finally got a coach who can compete on the level of Jose. If you are daft enough to let Jose go you will be shooting yourself in the foot.
Do you think Man Citeh would think twice about getting Jose?
We all know that football is a results business and there are lots of impatient people out there but Jose has paid his dues and shown his quality and he really does deserve support and backing. If he is sacked then It would not surprise me to see your decline accelerate.
Look again at the situation at Christmas. With Jose in place it would not surprise me to see you through the group stage of the Champions League and in or around the top four.

I fully agree with you, Tommy. There isn't a better manager out there for us, to get us out of this bad stretch. Sure, Mourinho is partly responsible, but so are the players. They have to pull through together.
We just need that belief and confidence back, get a couple of good results and we can still make top 4. Everyone needs to get his act straight. I can only hope the board trust him. Sacking him again and going on another manager merry go round would not help us. The club needs stability.
