Ed, What possible reason could Chelsea have for not going in for Samir Nasri? The guy is an outstanding creative mid, and exactly what were lacking. I hear he wants a big wage, well if this is the only reason we havent made any type of move for him then its simply not good enough for me. Just imagine Nasri playing in behind Torres ed, imagine the chances Torres would get! You must see it anyone in the right mind of football would. Hopefully Villas Boas is clever enough to take advantage and raid Arsenal for him.

I think nasri would be a class buy, him and nani.

They would. But I doubt they will be on market.

AVB has indicated that he doesnt see any great need to have a mass cklearout in the summer..Please, Please use this opportunity to get rid of Kalou, Mikel, Anelka, Flo, Bos and buy a bit of hunger and quality.. my choices would be Diarra/Alonso (dm) Aguero (No 10) Robben (LW) Pastore (cm) VDW (RB)

Diarra&Alonso are worst than Essien&JOM.
Robben will never sign Chelsea again. Pastore gamble(plays in Mickey Mouse league with 4-5 teams that could play in EPL rest is not good enough for Championship). VDW possible if he doesn't go to MCFC. Sneijder should be nummber one target, Eto'o as well 9 goals in 8 matches in CL last season. We need RM or RW-what do you think how will Neymar with his 120 pounds weight fit in EPL.

Just wanted the fans view of how the system would work if Falcao (looks likely) joins?

would you go back to 4-4-2 and a diamond even tho ppl like JT and Lamps have come out and said they prefer 4-3-3

or do you not care and think that if we get new (younger) players in earlier and get a good pre-season with say a 4-4-2 with Torres and Falcao upfront, it could work?

Lamps and JT are in the twilight of their Chelsea careers. I thank them for their dedication and service to the club, but to ignore a different formation because a few players (who really should be having less of a role anyway because of their age) prefer a 4-3-3 is ridiculous. Besides, the diamond isn't the only 4-4-2 formation. Just because Lampard isn't suitable for the tip doesn't mean that another player couldn't play there (Kakuta anyone? Not to mention a number of transfer targets we've been linked with).

I AGREE, LAMPARD SHOULD BE STARTING ON THE BENCH. WE WOULD SEE A TOTALLY DIFFERENT FRANK THIS WAY.

Quite possible David Luiz might go to Barcelona he is far more important to Barcelona than Fabregas. {Ed018's Note - Barcelona is not in the position to spend big this summer. And there is nothing suggesting that Luiz is open for a move.

K.P.Boateng just signed for AV Milan. Last season he was Genoa player on loan to ACM with buy clause 7.5mil euros.
He was available last year for mil pounds even after his excellent performance on WC not even one serious EPL team showed interest in him.
This says everything about EPL top scouts.

Is there any chance of buying him now ed? {Ed002's Note - Boateng has never been an option.}
