Cech

Ivanovic Luiz Cahill Cole

Ramires Essien Romeu

Torres Mata

Sturridge

Torres and Drogba aren't scoring so I think it's about time Sturridge got a chance up front. Solid midfield with plenty of creativity from Mata and Torres. I think this could really work.

Totally agree, Torres got 8 assists this season, he isn't scoring but he is developing into a squad player. He is passing more than Sturridge and would be better of on the right side of the pitch, ( where he assisted mata with a wonderful cross against man unt )

Agree1 Disagree0

But Torres was a lethal STRIKER. There are better playmakers around than him. Let him play in his natural position with the team supporting and playing in a system that suits him. Otherwise put him out of his misery and get rid

Ivanovic - Cahill - Luiz - Bertrand
Essien
Ramires Mata
Torres Sturridge
Drogba

Wouldnt mind seing this team for the next run of easy-ish games, Torres drops back for the ball anyway so you may aswel play him to where he drifts too, plus he can cross the ball, plus less pressure, Sturridge on the left is a no brainer for me, Essien/Ramires/Mata is also, for me, a no brainer as our midfield

This is the line up that definitely looks the best.I would play Romeu instead of Ramires against Napoli, it would give us the more stability defensively .AVB has to try and play both strikers against Bolton. What are your predictions guys?

I would love to see drogba and Torres start together, think drogba would really help Torres and motivate him when his and when his head starts to drop,

Ed is arsenal richer than chelsea? {Ed001's Note - depends on how you view it. Arsenal have more money as a club, but Chelsea have an owner who puts money into the club.}

Against Bolton...

There is really only one option for the defence at the min...

Ivanovic - Cahill - Luiz - Cole

We should play with two central midfielders...

Ramires - Romeu

We should play an attacking midfielder with two wingers...

Sturridge - Mata - Kalou

We should play a certain Spainard as a lone striker...

Torres

None of this will probably happen!!

SO he hasnt hardly played surely you mean he has hardly played otherwise your saying he has played lots...Come on pinky sort it out mate

MJ

Agree0 Disagree1

He may of scored a few but the rest of his game is shocking

Agree2 Disagree1

Play Torres as a lone striker?,are you mad,he shouldnt play again, how many chances does he need to score a goal, get real.

Agree3 Disagree1

Neither drog or torres should start either play danny but preferably lukaku, sturridge doesnt have the heart to play for us

Agree1 Disagree2

Drogba should not be starting. I agree with Sturridge playing in center forward ,but Torres will make a deal playing behind him with Mata. Torres is becoming more of a team player and is passing much more than Sturridge.

ok after having calmed down a bit from the team selection against Napoli (i did take me a while) i was trying to think about chelsea's future. i still think AVB is a good manager and if we get the players we want in the summer, then there shouldnt be a problem with his team selection. also to be honest, after hearing all these benitez rumours, lets bloody hope AVB stays. and it seems like he will to me now, i read an article where even AVB admitted roman questioned his tactics after the game vs napoli - he has never done that ! he's always been a typical russian - axe first, ask questions later so it seems as if AVB will be given time. lets just finish in the top 4 this season hopefully and see how the summer goes

Why so much hate between us Chelsea boys! End of the day Avb out of depth and to many players thinking they bigger than the club! This will never change until them players leave

What is there to say that hasn't already been said? First...I'm fed up with the 'glory hunting Russian revolution fans'! I have the unfortunate task of spending a lot of time up north; Northern Chelsea fans annoy me as much as, I know, cockney scousers & manc's annoy real Liverpool and Utd fans! Too many corporate fans at the bridge these days, a bigger stadium will only make things worse!

Blame AVB for the demise of Chelsea but the real demise isn't on the pitch it's in the board room! Who are these people who make the decisions? It's all wrong! There is a cancer at the bridge and it's eating away at the heart of the club, not on the pitch, not on the training ground...everywhere else! I hate what Chelsea is being turned into! Football isn't a business it's a love! Everyone on here, no matter on your opinion, loves the club; & wants the best for the club!

The board need to take notice of the real fans!!

I wish players and supporters would back avb. At the end of the day he is the gaffer at the moment and although at times I feel its looks as if he hasnt got a clue he's what we've got at the club and our season needs saving so us as fans aswell as the team should get behind him. CAREFREE

I hope AVB stays.

Sacking him would be a disgrace.
